| IBM AIX 7.2, and 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code due to an integer overflow during size computation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-21753 | 2026-08-25 | 4.2 Medium | ||
| HCL Hive is affected by weak software supply chain governance, which could lead to the inclusion of vulnerable, unmaintained, or malicious third-party dependencies within the application environment. | ||||
| CVE-2026-9256 | 3 Debian, F5, Redhat | 12 Debian Linux, Dos, Nginx Gateway Fabric and 9 more | 2026-08-25 | 8.1 High |
| NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_rewrite_module module. This vulnerability exists when a rewrite directive uses a regex pattern with distinct, overlapping Perl-Compatible Regular Expression (PCRE) captures (for example, ^/((.*))$) and a replacement string that references multiple such captures (for example, $1$2) in a redirect or arguments context. An unauthenticated attacker along with conditions beyond their control can exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP requests. This may cause a heap buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart. Additionally, attackers can execute code on systems with Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) disabled or when the attacker can bypass ASLR. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. | ||||
| CVE-2026-6477 | 1 Postgresql | 1 Postgresql | 2026-08-25 | 8.8 High |
| Use of inherently dangerous function PQfn(..., result_is_int=0, ...) in PostgreSQL libpq lo_export(), lo_read(), lo_lseek64(), and lo_tell64() functions allows the server superuser to overwrite a client stack buffer with an arbitrarily-large response. Like gets(), PQfn(..., result_is_int=0, ...) stores arbitrary-length, server-determined data into a buffer of unspecified size. Because both the \lo_export command in psql and pg_dump call lo_read(), the server superuser can overwrite pg_dump or psql stack memory. Versions before PostgreSQL 18.4, 17.10, 16.14, 15.18, and 14.23 are affected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-6473 | 2 Postgresql, Redhat | 2 Postgresql, Hummingbird | 2026-08-25 | 8.8 High |
| Integer wraparound in multiple PostgreSQL server features allows an unprivileged database user to cause the server to undersize an allocation and write out-of-bounds. This may execute arbitrary code as the operating system user running the database. In applications that pass gigabyte-scale user inputs to the relevant database functions, the application input provider may achieve a segmentation fault. Versions before PostgreSQL 18.4, 17.10, 16.14, 15.18, and 14.23 are affected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-59335 | 2026-08-25 | 8.7 High | ||
| Improper handling of case sensitivity (CWE-178) in the identity zone authorization check in the Identity Zone Endpoint in Cloud Foundry UAA allows a remote authenticated attacker holding only the zones.write authority to bypass the intended restriction that this authority does not grant access to the privileged uaa (system) identity zone, by referring to the zone identifier in a non-lowercase form (e.g. UAA) in the request path and body. The authorization layer performs a case-sensitive comparison against the system zone identifier, while the underlying MySQL persistence layer resolves identifiers case-insensitively under its default collation, so the request is authorized incorrectly and is then resolved against the real system zone record. This allows the attacker to overwrite the system zone's JWT signing key with attacker-controlled key material, forge JWTs claiming the admin client and administrator scopes, and fully compromise UAA and any Cloud Foundry deployment that trusts it. This issue only affects UAA deployments backed by MySQL using its default collation; PostgreSQL and HSQLDB backends are not affected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-47162 | 1 Vim | 1 Vim | 2026-08-25 | 8.8 High |
| Vim is an open source, command line text editor. Prior to version 9.2.0495, a Vimscript code injection vulnerability exists in s:NetrwBookHistSave() in the netrw plugin (runtime/pack/dist/opt/netrw/autoload/netrw.vim) when serializing browsed directory paths to the history file ~/.vim/.netrwhist. A directory name derived from the filesystem is interpolated into a single-quoted Vimscript string literal without escaping embedded single quotes, allowing a crafted directory name to break out of the string context and execute arbitrary Vimscript, including shell commands via system() and :!, the next time the history file is sourced. This issue has been patched in version 9.2.0495. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43125 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-25 | 9.8 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dlm: validate length in dlm_search_rsb_tree The len parameter in dlm_dump_rsb_name() is not validated and comes from network messages. When it exceeds DLM_RESNAME_MAXLEN, it can cause out-of-bounds write in dlm_search_rsb_tree(). Add length validation to prevent potential buffer overflow. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42945 | 1 F5 | 7 Dos, Nginx Gateway Fabric, Nginx Ingress Controller and 4 more | 2026-08-25 | 8.1 High |
| NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_rewrite_module module. This vulnerability exists when the rewrite directive is followed by a rewrite, if, or set directive and an unnamed Perl-Compatible Regular Expression (PCRE) capture (for example, $1, $2) with a replacement string that includes a question mark (?). An unauthenticated attacker along with conditions beyond its control can exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP requests. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42055 | 2 F5, Redhat | 11 Dos, Nginx Gateway Fabric, Nginx Ingress Controller and 8 more | 2026-08-25 | 8.1 High |
| NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_proxy_v2_module and ngx_http_grpc_module modules. This vulnerability exists when the proxy_http_version to 2 or grpc_pass directives are used to proxy HTTP/2 traffic, the ignore_invalid_headers directive is set to off, and the large_client_header_buffers directive size is larger than 2 megabytes. A remote, unauthenticated attacker, along with conditions beyond their control, could send large headers while creating an upstream request. This may cause a heap-based buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart. Additionally, attackers can execute code on systems with Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) disabled or when the attacker can bypass ASLR. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. | ||||
| CVE-2026-39363 | 2 Vitejs, Voidzero | 3 Vite, Vite-plus, Vite\+ | 2026-08-25 | 7.5 High |
| Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript. From 6.0.0 to before 6.4.2, 7.3.2, and 8.0.5, if it is possible to connect to the Vite dev server’s WebSocket without an Origin header, an attacker can invoke fetchModule via the custom WebSocket event vite:invoke and combine file://... with ?raw (or ?inline) to retrieve the contents of arbitrary files on the server as a JavaScript string (e.g., export default "..."). The access control enforced in the HTTP request path (such as server.fs.allow) is not applied to this WebSocket-based execution path. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.4.2, 7.3.2, and 8.0.5. | ||||
| CVE-2026-34756 | 2 Vllm, Vllm-project | 2 Vllm, Vllm | 2026-08-25 | 6.5 Medium |
| vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). From 0.1.0 to before 0.19.0, a Denial of Service vulnerability exists in the vLLM OpenAI-compatible API server. Due to the lack of an upper bound validation on the n parameter in the ChatCompletionRequest and CompletionRequest Pydantic models, an unauthenticated attacker can send a single HTTP request with an astronomically large n value. This completely blocks the Python asyncio event loop and causes immediate Out-Of-Memory crashes by allocating millions of request object copies in the heap before the request even reaches the scheduling queue. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.19.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-27459 | 2 Pyca, Pyopenssl | 2 Pyopenssl, Pyopenssl | 2026-08-25 | 9.8 Critical |
| pyOpenSSL is a Python wrapper around the OpenSSL library. Starting in version 22.0.0 and prior to version 26.0.0, if a user provided callback to `set_cookie_generate_callback` returned a cookie value greater than 256 bytes, pyOpenSSL would overflow an OpenSSL provided buffer. Starting in version 26.0.0, cookie values that are too long are now rejected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-21754 | 2026-08-25 | 5.4 Medium | ||
| HCL Hive is affected by multiple infrastructure and network configuration vulnerabilities, which could lead to unauthorized lateral movement, container breakout, and sensitive data exposure within internal communications. | ||||
| CVE-2025-62718 | 1 Axios | 1 Axios | 2026-08-25 | 9.9 Critical |
| Axios is a promise based HTTP client for the browser and Node.js. Prior to 1.15.0 and 0.31.0, Axios does not correctly handle hostname normalization when checking NO_PROXY rules. Requests to loopback addresses like localhost. (with a trailing dot) or [::1] (IPv6 literal) skip NO_PROXY matching and go through the configured proxy. This goes against what developers expect and lets attackers force requests through a proxy, even if NO_PROXY is set up to protect loopback or internal services. This issue leads to the possibility of proxy bypass and SSRF vulnerabilities allowing attackers to reach sensitive loopback or internal services despite the configured protections. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.15.0 and 0.31.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-17042 | 1 Ibm | 21 Power Hardware Management Console \(7063-cr2\), Power Hardware Management Console \(7063-cr2\) Firmware, Power System Ac922 \(8335-gth\) and 18 more | 2026-08-25 | 7.3 High |
| IBM Power Systems Firmware FW950.00 through FW950.H2, OP940.00 through OP940.a1 (Power9), and OP940.00 - OP940.81 (Power HMC) is affected by a vulnerability in host firmware NVRAM parsing. An attacker with root access to a guest partition on an OpenPOWER system can write a specially crafted NVRAM image, causing the host firmware boot stage to crash with possible memory corruption. This condition persists until operator intervention — clearing NVRAM via the service processor — to restore normal operation. This vulnerability only affects OpenPOWER systems; systems running PowerVM are not affected. Successful exploitation results in an integrity and availability impact to the managed system. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74665 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-25 | 9.1 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: fix skb length accounting after generic XDP frag adjustment Generic XDP exposes non-linear skb fragments through an xdp_buff. If an XDP program adjusts the fragment area, bpf_prog_run_generic_xdp() copies xdp_frags_size back to skb->data_len but leaves skb->len containing the old fragment contribution. After a fragment shrink, this makes skb_headlen() larger than the actual linear area. In the reproduced UDP receive path, __skb_datagram_iter() copied 1024 bytes past the actual linear tail to userspace, starting at struct skb_shared_info. The copied bytes included the affected skb's nr_frags, xdp_frags_size and a kernel pointer from skb_shinfo(skb)->frags[0]. Real packet data was displaced by the same amount and truncated at the end. Subtract the old data_len before replacing it and add the new data_len afterwards, keeping skb->len and skb->data_len synchronized. A 60000-byte UDP datagram on a veth pair with MTU 64000 was shortened by 1024 bytes from its fragment area. Before the fix, all 10 runs produced corrupted payloads. After the fix, all 10 runs matched the expected payload exactly. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74701 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-25 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/openvswitch: check Ethernet header length in key_extract() When a packet arrives on an ARPHRD_NONE device (e.g. TUN), ovs_flow_key_extract() trusts the user-provided skb->protocol field: if it is ETH_P_TEB, the packet is classified as MAC_PROTO_ETHERNET and key_extract() is called without ensuring the skb has ETH_HLEN (14) bytes of linear data. key_extract() unconditionally pulls 2 * ETH_ALEN bytes for MAC addresses and parse_ethertype() pulls 2 more, either of which triggers a kernel BUG in __skb_pull() when the linear area is too small. kernel BUG at include/linux/skbuff.h:2848! RIP: 0010:key_extract+0xa7e/0xd90 net/openvswitch/flow.c:933 ovs_flow_key_extract+0x419/0xa70 ovs_vport_receive+0x222/0x390 netdev_frame_hook+0x3e0/0x630 tun_get_user+0x2d0c/0x38e0 Fixed by calling check_header() in key_extract() before accessing the Ethernet header. | ||||
| CVE-2026-15809 | 1 Redhat | 4 Confidential Compute Attestation, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 1 more | 2026-08-25 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in CRI-O. The fix for a previous vulnerability (CVE-2022-4318) was incorrect, allowing it to be bypassed. An attacker capable of setting environment variables on a container can inject a newline character into the HOME environment variable. This issue allows the addition of arbitrary lines into /etc/passwd by use of a specially crafted environment variable. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74612 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-25 | 10 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: veth: fix skb length accounting after XDP frag adjustment veth exposes non-linear skb fragments through an xdp_buff. If an XDP program adjusts the fragment area, veth_xdp_rcv_skb() copies xdp_frags_size back to skb->data_len but leaves skb->len containing the old fragment contribution. After a fragment shrink, this makes skb_headlen() larger than the actual linear area. In the reproduced UDP receive path, __skb_datagram_iter() copied 1024 bytes past the actual linear tail to userspace, starting at struct skb_shared_info. The copied bytes included the affected skb's nr_frags, xdp_frags_size, and a kernel pointer from skb_shinfo(skb)->frags[0]. Real packet data was displaced by the same amount and truncated at the end. Subtract the old data_len before replacing it and add the new data_len afterwards, keeping skb->len and skb->data_len synchronized. Additionally, bpf_xdp_pull_data() can advance data_end while leaving frags present. The skb is then still non-linear, so the old __skb_put(skb, off) triggers SKB_LINEAR_ASSERT(). Use skb_set_tail_pointer() and update skb->len explicitly instead, following bpf_prog_run_generic_xdp(). Unlike __skb_put(), skb_set_tail_pointer() does not require a linear skb. A 60000-byte UDP datagram on a veth pair with MTU 64000 was shortened by 1024 bytes from its fragment area. Before the fix, all 10 runs produced corrupted payloads. After the fix, all 10 runs matched the expected payload exactly. A forced-tailroom reproducer also exercises bpf_xdp_pull_data() with frags still present; the old code triggers SKB_LINEAR_ASSERT(), while this fix passes 10/10 runs. | ||||
