CVE-2026-102714 2026-09-29 N/A
`_nx_icmpv6_validate_options()` scans the option area with `while (length > 2)` (`common/src/nx_icmpv6_validate_options.c:79`). An area whose size leaves a one- or two-byte residue exits the loop with that tail unexamined; the residue is not negative, so the function returns `NX_SUCCESS`. Its zero-length rejection never sees those bytes. Every consumer then re-walks the same area, reading a two-byte option header at the residue and subtracting `nx_icmpv6_option_length << 3` with no zero check and no remaining-length check. Three outcomes follow, selected by bytes the attacker controls. **Zero length byte.** The walker subtracts zero and advances zero. All four handlers loop forever — `_nx_icmpv6_process_ra` (`nx_icmpv6_process_ra.c:245, :528`), `_nx_icmpv6_process_ns` (`:251, :329`), `_nx_icmpv6_process_na` (`:147, :156`) and `_nx_icmpv6_process_redirect` (`:247, :350`). The walk runs in the IP thread, which is the highest-priority thread and does not yield inside the loop, so the system stops until a watchdog reset and the frame can be replayed after each one. **Non-zero length byte on a short residue.** The three unsigned counters underflow — `2 - 8` becomes `0xFFFFFFFA` — and the walk continues past the packet buffer, reading until it faults or meets a zero length byte and freezes. The Router Advertisement counter is signed and exits cleanly in this case. **One-byte residue.** The walker reads a two-byte option header, over-reading one byte. During a runaway walk, stray bytes parsing as a link-layer address option are copied into the neighbor cache (`nx_icmpv6_process_ns.c:280, :293`) and subsequently used as the destination MAC for frames to that neighbour, placing off-packet memory on the link. Confirmed by inspection, not reproduced.

An attacker with root access to a partition can send a specially crafted request to the partition firmware runtime, causing it to crash with possible memory corruption.
CVE-2026-88377 1 Axiomatic 1 Bento4 2026-09-29 6.2 Medium
Bento4 1.6.0.0 contains an integer underflow vulnerability in the avcC and hvcC configuration atom parsers. A specially crafted MP4 file containing an atom with a declared size smaller than AP4_ATOM_HEADER_SIZE can cause AP4_AvccAtom::Create() or AP4_HvccAtom::Create() to underflow the payload-size calculation. The resulting oversized buffer operation can cause invalid or NULL pointers to be passed to the AP4_DataBuffer copy path, resulting in application termination and denial of service.
CVE-2026-18747 1 Zephyrproject 1 Zephyr 2026-09-29 6.8 Medium
The MCUmgr SMP-over-console transport decodes a base64 frame, reads a 16-bit packet length from it, verifies a CRC and then unconditionally strips the trailing CRC with rx_ctxt->nb->len -= 2U; in mcumgr_serial_process_frag() (subsys/mgmt/mcumgr/transport/src/serial_util.c). mcumgr_serial_extract_len() accepted any declared length, including 0 and 1, and a packet declaring length 0 passes the checksum test for free because crc16_itu_t() over zero bytes returns the zero seed. Since net_buf::len is a uint16_t, the subtraction underflows and the buffer is handed to SMP claiming roughly 65 KB of payload while its data area is only CONFIG_MCUMGR_TRANSPORT_NETBUF_SIZE bytes (default 384). The trigger is a single unauthenticated 7-byte line on the management console — the 0x06 0x09 packet marker followed by the base64 group AAA= and a newline — delivered to any transport built on this helper: CONFIG_MCUMGR_TRANSPORT_UART (smp_uart.c) or CONFIG_MCUMGR_TRANSPORT_SHELL (smp_shell.c), both of which select MCUMGR_TRANSPORT_SERIAL_HAS_SMP_OVER_CONSOLE. No prior session state, fragmentation or credentials are required to trigger the underflow, and the malformed frame is mishandled before any command handler or command-level access control runs. The attacker only needs write access to that console, which on many boards is a USB CDC-ACM port rather than a bare UART header. With the inflated length, smp_process_request_packet() in subsys/mgmt/mcumgr/smp/src/smp.c loses its bound: cbor_nb_reader_init() gives the CBOR decoder a ~65 KB window into a 384-byte buffer, and each request header's nh_len is checked only against the inflated length. On its own the 7-byte frame re-parses whatever stale bytes the reused pool buffer still holds, typically a replay of the previously received request followed by a parse error, without leaving the buffer. Because the transport is unauthenticated, though, the attacker also controls the frames sent before the trigger, and can stage buffer contents so that a request succeeds with an nh_len larger than the buffer; net_buf_pull(), guarded only by __ASSERT_NO_MSG, then moves the parse cursor out of bounds and the loop reads further headers and CBOR from adjacent memory. The consequence is an out-of-bounds read that can fault the MCUmgr thread (denial of service); memory disclosure is also possible, since the default-enabled os echo handler (CONFIG_MCUMGR_GRP_OS_ECHO) decodes its string inside that window and copies it into its response. There is no integrity gain beyond what the unauthenticated transport already permits. The fix rejects any declared packet length of two bytes or fewer in mcumgr_serial_extract_len(), so the CRC-strip subtraction can no longer underflow. The identical pattern remains in the test-only loopback transport subsys/mgmt/mcumgr/transport/src/smp_dummy.c (CONFIG_MCUMGR_TRANSPORT_DUMMY), which has no external input path and therefore carries no practical exposure.
CVE-2026-58016 2 Gnome, Redhat 15 Glib, Cert Manager, Discovery and 12 more 2026-09-29 7.5 High
A flaw was found in GLib. A state confusion issue exists in g_dbus_node_info_new_for_xml() in the gio/gdbusintrospection.c file when processing malformed D-Bus introspection XML, specifically with a `node` element nested within other elements like `method`, `signal`, `property` or `arg`. This issue can cause an unsigned integer overflow and lead to an out-of-bounds read, resulting in a denial of service.
CVE-2026-33845 2 Gnu, Redhat 17 Gnutls, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 14 more 2026-09-29 7.5 High
A flaw in GnuTLS DTLS handshake parsing allows malformed fragments with zero length and non-zero offset, leading to an integer underflow during reassembly and resulting in an out-of-bounds read. This issue is remotely exploitable and may cause information disclosure or denial of service.
CVE-2026-94287 1 X.org 1 Libxpm 2026-09-28 5.5 Medium
A denial of service via unsigned underflow in libXpm's write path in libXpm before 3.5.19 could be used by local attackers to cause unbounded CPU usage and memory exhaustion.
CVE-2026-93789 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwlwifi: bound aligned TLV advance in FW parser Validate ALIGN(tlv_len, 4) against remaining parser length before consuming bytes from the firmware image. This avoids length underflow on malformed TLVs.
CVE-2026-88376 1 Axiomatic 1 Bento4 2026-09-27 7.5 High
Bento4 1.6.0.0 contains an integer underflow vulnerability in AP4_AvccAtom::Create() and AP4_HvccAtom::Create(). A specially crafted MP4 file containing an avcC or hvcC atom with a declared size smaller than the atom header size can cause the payload-size calculation to wrap to a large unsigned value. The resulting invalid buffer allocation and copy operations can cause application termination, leading to denial of service.
CVE-2026-97413 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-26 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/rtrs-srv: Fix integer underflow in process_read and process_write usr_len is read from a network-supplied message field (le16_to_cpu) and used to compute data_len = off - usr_len without validating that usr_len <= off. A malicious RDMA client can send usr_len > off causing an integer underflow, resulting in data_len wrapping to a huge size_t value which is then passed to the rdma_ev callback as a memory length, leading to out-of-bounds memory access. Fix by reading and validating usr_len <= off before rtrs_srv_get_ops_ids() in both process_read() and process_write(), ensuring the early return path acquires no reference and has no resource leak.
CVE-2026-97551 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: initialise args->total for parent pointer updates xfs_parent_da_args_init() builds an xfs_da_args from a zeroed xfs_parent_args (kmem_cache_zalloc), leaving args->total == 0. xfs_da_grow_inode_int() treats that field as a running block reservation and subtracts from it; because it is an xfs_extlen_t (uint32_t), the first attr-fork growth wraps it to ~0U. That defeats the free-space check in xfs_alloc_space_available(), and when it coincides with an AG that has exactly zero available blocks the allocation is clamped to maxlen 0 and returns -ENOSPC, which xfs_defer_finish_noroll() escalates to a filesystem shutdown. Set args->total the way the log recovery path does (xfs_attri_recover_work(), xfs_attr_item.c:706), in the add and replace paths that can grow the fork. Removals and lookups never grow it, so they leave the field alone, matching that switch.
CVE-2026-93395 1 Mongodb 1 C Driver 2026-09-25 5.3 Medium
A missing lower-bound validation in the bson_new_from_buffer() function of libbson allows an integer underflow when processing BSON data with a zero-length prefix. The function reads a 32-bit document length from the input buffer but does not verify that the value is at least 5 (the minimum valid BSON document size) before using it in an array index calculation. When the length field is zero, the expression used to check the document's null terminator wraps to UINT32_MAX, causing a heap out-of-bounds read that crashes the process. An unauthorized party who can supply crafted BSON input to an application using this API can cause a denial of service.
CVE-2026-81881 2 Radare, Radareorg 2 Radare2, Radare2 2026-09-25 3.3 Low
radare2 is a UNIX-like reverse engineering framework and command-line toolset. Prior to 6.2.0, radare2's Mach-O Swift field-metadata parser was vulnerable because a relative Swift field pointer could be lower than the field-metadata section base, making subtraction produce a negative logical index. The vulnerability is triggered by parsing Swift type and class metadata from a crafted Mach-O file. The derived index was used to read four bytes immediately before the allocated field-metadata buffer. This can cause incorrect metadata processing or process termination; no attacker-observable memory disclosure has been demonstrated. This issue is fixed in version 6.2.0.
CVE-2026-93784 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: cfg80211: validate IEs in cfg80211_wext_siwgenie() The KASAN allocation trace shows that a malformed IE buffer is stored via SIOCSIWGENIE (cfg80211_wext_siwgenie()) without any validation. The crash trace shows that a subsequent SIOCSIWESSID triggers a connection attempt which calls cfg80211_sme_get_conn_ies() to process the stored IE buffer, causing: - An out-of-bounds read in skip_ie() which reads ies[pos+1] (the length byte) past the end of the 1-byte buffer. - An integer underflow in the memcpy size argument when offs returned by ieee80211_ie_split() exceeds ies_len, causing unsigned subtraction to wrap to SIZE_MAX and triggering a fortify panic. Fix this by validating the IE buffer in cfg80211_wext_siwgenie() before storing it. [drop unnecessary ie_len check, update commit message]
CVE-2026-93792 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-25 N/A

CVE-2026-69824 1 Microsoft 26 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 23 more 2026-09-24 9.8 Critical
Integer underflow (wrap or wraparound) in Microsoft Standard XPS allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network.
CVE-2026-95958 1 Justicerage 1 Manalyze 2026-09-23 3.3 Low
A security flaw has been discovered in JusticeRage Manalyze 1.0.0. Impacted is the function PE::_parse_relocations of the file manape/pe.cpp of the component PE Parser. Performing a manipulation of the argument BlockSize results in integer underflow. The attack requires a local approach. The patch is named c372b6bbca9d8c63812be50596fefa4a79c65fd0. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue.
CVE-2026-73433 2 Gstreamer, Redhat 9 Gstreamer, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 6 more 2026-09-23 6.6 Medium
A flaw was found in GStreamer gst-plugins-good (avidemux). When parsing FUJIFILM metadata in an AVI strd chunk, gst_avi_demux_parse_strd() decrements a remaining-length counter by fixed offsets (98 and 10 bytes) without verifying sufficient data remains. For crafted strd payloads of exactly 106 or 107 bytes, the counter underflows to a very large unsigned value, causing subsequent null-terminated string scanning to read far beyond the allocated heap buffer. Date-format normalization may also write beyond the buffer end. Confirmed impacts include heap out-of-bounds read, out-of-bounds write, heap information disclosure (adjacent data appearing in parsed metadata), and application crash/denial of service. The avidemux element is auto-plugged by playbin, decodebin, and gst-discoverer, so opening or previewing a crafted AVI is sufficient to trigger the issue. Fixed upstream in gst-plugins-good 1.28.6 (GStreamer-SA-2026-0072).
CVE-2026-25104 1 Mediaarea 2 Mediainfo, Mediainfolib 2026-09-23 7.8 High
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the LXF parsing functionality of MediaInfoLib (version(s): 26.01). A specially crafted .lxf file can lead to arbitrary code execution. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability.
CVE-2026-93599 1 Rustls 1 Webpki 2026-09-22 7.5 High
rustls-webpki through 0.103.12 (and 0.104.0-alpha releases before 0.104.0-alpha.7) contains a reachable panic in bit_string_flags() in src/der.rs. The input guard fails to reject a named-bit BIT STRING whose content is exactly [0x00] (zero padding bits and no data bytes), so raw_bits.len() - 1 underflows on the empty slice and the subsequent index operation panics (subtract-with-overflow in debug, index-out-of-bounds in release). The condition is reachable through the public API BorrowedCertRevocationList::from_der() when a CRL contains an issuingDistributionPoint extension with such an onlySomeReasons value. Exploitation requires an application that explicitly opts in to CRL revocation checking by passing RevocationOptions to verify_for_usage() and that parses CRL bytes obtained from a source the attacker can influence; the default rustls configuration, which does not use RevocationOptions, is unaffected. A crafted CRL causes a denial of service via the panic. Fixed in 0.103.13 and 0.104.0-alpha.7.
