| CVE-2026-65940 | 1 Progress Software | 1 Whatsup Gold | 2026-08-12 | 6.8 Medium |
| In WhatsUp Gold versions released before 2026.0.2, a privileged attacker can write arbitrary files to a web-accessible location on the host server. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64233 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-12 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: uvc: hold opts->lock across XU walks in uvc_function_bind uvc_function_bind() walks &opts->extension_units twice without holding opts->lock: - directly, for the iExtension string-descriptor fixup loop; - indirectly, four times via uvc_copy_descriptors() (once per speed), where the helper iterates uvc->desc.extension_units (which aliases &opts->extension_units) to size and emit XU descriptors. The configfs side (uvcg_extension_make / uvcg_extension_drop, in drivers/usb/gadget/function/uvc_configfs.c) takes opts->lock around its list_add_tail / list_del operations. A privileged userspace process that holds the configfs subtree open and writes the gadget UDC name to bind the function while concurrently rmdir()'ing an extensions subdir can race uvcg_extension_drop() against the bind-time list walks and dereference a freed struct uvcg_extension. Hold opts->lock from the start of the XU string-descriptor fixup through the last uvc_copy_descriptors() call, releasing on the descriptor-error path via a new error_unlock label that drops the lock before falling through to the existing error label. This matches the locking discipline of the configfs callbacks and removes the only remaining unsynchronised reader of the XU list during bind. Reachability: only privileged processes that can mount configfs and write to gadget UDC files can trigger the race, so this is a correctness fix rather than a security boundary. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64234 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-12 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tty: serial: pch_uart: add check for dma_alloc_coherent() Add a check for dma_alloc_coherent() failure to prevent a potential NULL pointer dereference in dma_handle_rx(). Properly release DMA channels and the PCI device reference using a goto ladder if the allocation fails. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64236 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-12 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: davinci: fix division by zero on missing clock-frequency When the 'clock-frequency' property is missing from the device tree, the driver falls back to DAVINCI_I2C_DEFAULT_BUS_FREQ. However, this macro was defined in kHz (100), whereas the device tree property is expected in Hz. The probe function divided the fallback value by 1000, causing integer truncation that resulted in dev->bus_freq = 0. This triggered a deterministic division-by-zero kernel panic when calculating clock dividers later in the probe sequence. Fix this by redefining DAVINCI_I2C_DEFAULT_BUS_FREQ in Hz (100000) to match the expected device tree property unit, allowing the existing division logic to work correctly for both cases. | ||||
| CVE-2026-59846 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 4 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more | 2026-08-12 | 3.9 Low |
| A flaw was found in libssh. A malicious username expanded through %r in ProxyCommand handling can inject shell metacharacters, exposing environment variables and causing unintended shell behavior. | ||||
| CVE-2026-59844 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 4 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more | 2026-08-12 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libssh. A remote authenticated client can issue SSH_FXP_READ requests with an arbitrarily large length, causing a libssh SFTP server to allocate excessive memory and potentially exhaust it through repeated requests. | ||||
| CVE-2026-59843 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 4 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more | 2026-08-12 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libssh. A remote authenticated peer can advertise a zero maximum packet size in SSH_MSG_CHANNEL_OPEN, causing later channel writes to loop indefinitely and consume CPU, leading to denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-59847 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 4 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more | 2026-08-12 | 5.9 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libssh. Incorrect AES-GCM finalization checks in builds using the OpenSSL backend can effectively remove integrity protection, allowing an in-path attacker to modify plaintext on the wire without detection. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64237 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-12 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: elan_i2c - validate firmware size before use Ensure that the firmware file is large enough to contain the expected number of pages and the signature (which resides at the end of the firmware blob) before accessing them to prevent potential out-of-bounds reads. | ||||
| CVE-2026-45799 | 2 Square, Squareup | 2 Wire, Wire | 2026-08-12 | 7.5 High |
| Wire provides gRPC and protocol buffers for Android, Kotlin, Swift, and Java. Prior to 6.3.0 and 7.0.0-alpha03, ByteArrayProtoReader32.skipGroup() and ProtoReader.skipGroup() in wire-runtime do not validate that a LENGTH_DELIMITED field length is non-negative before skip(), allowing a crafted protobuf varint encoding -128 as a signed Int to make skip(-128) move the internal position negative and make the next readByte() throw ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException instead of the documented IOException or ProtocolException, which can crash services using ProtoAdapter.decode(byte[]) on untrusted payloads. This issue is fixed in versions 6.3.0 and 7.0.0-alpha03. | ||||
| CVE-2026-16756 | 1 Aws | 1 Aws-smithy-http-server | 2026-08-12 | 7.5 High |
| Missing connection and header-read timeouts and the absence of a concurrent-connection cap in the default serve() path of Amazon aws-smithy-http-server might allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service by opening many connections and sending partial requests that are never completed, exhausting server sockets and tasks. To mitigate this issue, users should upgrade to aws-smithy-http-server 0.66.5 or later. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64833 | 1 Ffmpeg | 1 Ffmpeg | 2026-08-12 | 7.1 High |
| FFmpeg versions 0.7.1 through 8.1.2 contain an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the S/PDIF muxer that allows attackers to access memory beyond buffer boundaries by supplying a crafted DTS stream with a core_size value larger than the actual packet length. Attackers can exploit the missing bounds check in the spdif_header_dts4 function by providing a malicious DTS-HD audio stream during S/PDIF re-muxing to trigger unauthorized memory reads beyond the packet buffer. | ||||
| CVE-2026-4942 | 1 Ibm | 1 I | 2026-08-12 | 5.9 Medium |
| IBM i 7.6, 7.5, 7.4, and 7.3 could allow a remote attacker to send a specifically crafted message and downgrade the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol to a version disabled in the server configuration. | ||||
| CVE-2026-68347 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-12 | 4.7 Medium |

| CVE-2026-68351 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-12 | 5.4 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: carl9170: bound memcpy length in cmd callback to prevent OOB read When the firmware sends a command response with a length mismatch, carl9170_cmd_callback() logs the mismatch and calls carl9170_restart() but then falls through to memcpy(ar->readbuf, buffer + 4, len - 4). Since len comes from the firmware and can exceed ar->readlen, this copies more data than the readbuf was allocated for. Bound the memcpy to min(len - 4, ar->readlen) so that the response is still completed -- avoiding repeated restarts from queued garbage -- while preventing an overread past the response buffer. | ||||
| CVE-2026-68357 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-12 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: watchdog: pretimeout: Fix UAF in watchdog_unregister_governor() When a watchdog governor is unregistered, it updates existing watchdog devices that were using this governor by falling back to `default_gov`. If the governor being unregistered is currently set as `default_gov`, the `default_gov` is never cleared. This leads to 2 use-after-free issues: 1. New watchdog devices registered after this point will inherit the dangling `default_gov`. 2. Existing watchdog devices using the unregistered governor will have their `wdd->gov` reassigned to the dangling `default_gov`. Fix the UAF by clearing `default_gov` if it matches the governor being unregistered. | ||||
| CVE-2026-68358 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-12 | 4.1 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (nzxt-kraken3) Stop device IO before calling hid_hw_stop Calling hid_hw_stop() does not stop the device IO. This results in a race condition between hid_input_report() and the point immediately following the execution of hid_device_io_start() within the driver probe function. If the probe operation fails after "io start" has been initiated, this race condition will result in a UAF vulnerability. Fix the problem by calling hid_device_io_stop() before calling hid_hw_stop(). | ||||
| CVE-2026-73263 | 1 Prowler-cloud | 1 Prowler | 2026-08-12 | 9.9 Critical |
| Prowler is a cloud security platform. Prior to 5.36.0, the Kubernetes provider connection test accepted kubeconfig_content containing a legacy gcp auth-provider with config.cmd-path and config.cmd-args because kubeconfig_contains_exec_auth in api/src/backend/api/v1/serializers.py checked only exec blocks, and POST /api/v1/providers/{id}/connection loaded it through config.load_kube_config_from_dict in prowler/providers/kubernetes/kubernetes_provider.py, causing kubernetes-python CommandTokenSource.token to run the attacker-supplied command through subprocess.Popen on the shared worker. This issue is fixed in version 5.36.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73264 | 1 Prowler-cloud | 1 Prowler | 2026-08-12 | 7.6 High |
| Prowler is a cloud security platform. Prior to 5.33.1, an authenticated user with Lighthouse provider configuration access could supply an unvalidated base_url for the openai_compatible provider through POST /api/v1/lighthouse/providers and POST /api/v1/lighthouse/providers/{id}/connection, causing api/src/backend/tasks/jobs/lighthouse_providers.py to send outbound requests, including the API key in the Authorization header, to attacker-controlled or internal endpoints when client.models.list was called. This issue is fixed in version 5.33.1. | ||||
