CVE-2017-5646 1 Apache 1 Knox 2025-04-20 6.8 Medium
For versions of Apache Knox from 0.2.0 to 0.11.0 - an authenticated user may use a specially crafted URL to impersonate another user while accessing WebHDFS through Apache Knox. This may result in escalated privileges and unauthorized data access. While this activity is audit logged and can be easily associated with the authenticated user, this is still a serious security issue. All users are recommended to upgrade to the Apache Knox 0.12.0 release.

Aodh as packaged in Openstack Ocata and Newton before change-ID I8fd11a7f9fe3c0ea5f9843a89686ac06713b7851 and before Pike-rc1 does not verify that trust IDs belong to the user when creating alarm action with the scheme trust+http, which allows remote authenticated users with knowledge of trust IDs where Aodh is the trustee to obtain a Keystone token and perform unspecified authenticated actions by adding an alarm action with the scheme trust+http, and providing a trust id where Aodh is the trustee.
CVE-2017-8523 1 Microsoft 3 Edge, Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 2025-04-20 N/A
Microsoft Edge in Microsoft Windows 10 Gold, 1511, 1607, and 1703, and Windows Server 2016 allows an attacker to trick a user into loading a page with malicious content when Microsoft Edge fails to correctly apply Same Origin Policy for HTML elements present in other browser windows, aka "Microsoft Edge Security Feature Bypass Vulnerability". This CVE ID is unique from CVE-2017-8530 and CVE-2017-8555.
CVE-2017-8530 1 Microsoft 3 Edge, Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 2025-04-20 N/A
Microsoft Edge in Microsoft Windows 10 Gold, 1511, 1607, and 1703, and Windows Server 2016 allows an attacker to trick a user into loading a page with malicious content when Microsoft Edge does not properly enforce same-origin policies, aka "Microsoft Edge Security Feature Bypass Vulnerability". This CVE ID is unique from CVE-2017-8523 and CVE-2017-8555.
CVE-2017-11130 1 Stashcat 1 Heinekingmedia 2025-04-20 N/A
An issue was discovered in heinekingmedia StashCat through 1.7.5 for Android, through 0.0.80w for Web, and through 0.0.86 for Desktop. The product's protocol only tries to ensure confidentiality. In the whole protocol, no integrity or authenticity checks are done. Therefore man-in-the-middle attackers can conduct replay attacks.
CVE-2017-14604 3 Debian, Gnome, Redhat 3 Debian Linux, Nautilus, Enterprise Linux 2025-04-20 6.5 Medium
GNOME Nautilus before 3.23.90 allows attackers to spoof a file type by using the .desktop file extension, as demonstrated by an attack in which a .desktop file's Name field ends in .pdf but this file's Exec field launches a malicious "sh -c" command. In other words, Nautilus provides no UI indication that a file actually has the potentially unsafe .desktop extension; instead, the UI only shows the .pdf extension. One (slightly) mitigating factor is that an attack requires the .desktop file to have execute permission. The solution is to ask the user to confirm that the file is supposed to be treated as a .desktop file, and then remember the user's answer in the metadata::trusted field.
CVE-2017-8793 1 Accellion 1 File Transfer Appliance 2025-04-20 N/A
An issue was discovered on Accellion FTA devices before FTA_9_12_180. By sending a POST request to home/seos/courier/web/wmProgressstat.html.php with an attacker domain in the acallow parameter, the device will respond with an Access-Control-Allow-Origin header allowing the attacker to have site access with a bypass of the Same Origin Policy.
CVE-2016-8358 1 Smiths-medical 1 Cadd-solis Medication Safety Software 2025-04-20 N/A
An issue was discovered in Smiths-Medical CADD-Solis Medication Safety Software, Version 1.0; 2.0; 3.0; and 3.1. The affected software does not verify the identities at communication endpoints, which may allow a man-in-the-middle attacker to gain access to the communication channel between endpoints.
CVE-2017-0563 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-20 N/A
An elevation of privilege vulnerability in the HTC touchscreen driver could enable a local malicious application to execute arbitrary code within the context of the kernel. This issue is rated as Critical due to the possibility of a local permanent device compromise, which may require reflashing the operating system to repair the device. Product: Android. Versions: Kernel-3.10. Android ID: A-32089409.
CVE-2017-8650 1 Microsoft 2 Edge, Windows 10 2025-04-20 N/A
Microsoft Edge in Microsoft Windows 10 1703 allows an attacker to exploit a security feature bypass due to Microsoft Edge not properly enforcing same-origin policies, aka "Microsoft Edge Security Feature Bypass Vulnerability".
CVE-2017-17848 2 Debian, Enigmail 2 Debian Linux, Enigmail 2025-04-20 N/A
An issue was discovered in Enigmail before 1.9.9. In a variant of CVE-2017-17847, signature spoofing is possible for multipart/related messages because a signed message part can be referenced with a cid: URI but not actually displayed. In other words, the entire containing message appears to be signed, but the recipient does not see any of the signed text.
CVE-2017-17847 2 Debian, Enigmail 2 Debian Linux, Enigmail 2025-04-20 N/A
An issue was discovered in Enigmail before 1.9.9. Signature spoofing is possible because the UI does not properly distinguish between an attachment signature, and a signature that applies to the entire containing message, aka TBE-01-021. This is demonstrated by an e-mail message with an attachment that is a signed e-mail message in message/rfc822 format.
CVE-2015-9232 1 Good 1 Good For Enterprise 2025-04-20 N/A
The Good for Enterprise application 3.0.0.415 for Android does not use signature protection for its Authentication Delegation API intent. Also, the Good Dynamic application activation process does not attempt to detect malicious activation attempts involving modified names beginning with a com.good.gdgma substring. Consequently, an attacker could obtain access to intranet data. This issue is only relevant in cases where the user has already downloaded a malicious Android application.
CVE-2022-23507 3 Tendermint-light-client-js Project, Tendermint-light-client-verifier Project, Tendermint-light-client Project 3 Tendermint-light-client-js, Tendermint-light-client-verifier, Tendermint-light-client 2025-04-18 5.4 Medium
Tendermint is a high-performance blockchain consensus engine for Byzantine fault tolerant applications. Versions prior to 0.28.0 contain a potential attack via Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature, affecting anyone using the tendermint-light-client and related packages to perform light client verification (e.g. IBC-rs, Hermes). The light client does not check that the chain IDs of the trusted and untrusted headers match, resulting in a possible attack vector where someone who finds a header from an untrusted chain that satisfies all other verification conditions (e.g. enough overlapping validator signatures) could fool a light client. The attack vector is currently theoretical, and no proof-of-concept exists yet to exploit it on live networks. This issue is patched in version 0.28.0. There are no workarounds.
