CVSS v3.1 |
IBM Concert 1.0.0 through 3.0.0 could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service using a specially crafted regular expression that would cause excessive resource consumption.
A flaw was found in the GStreamer gst-plugins-good package. The rtph264depay and rtph265depay RTP depayloader elements do not enforce a maximum size limit on the reassembly buffer used during fragmented RTP packet processing. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can send a continuous stream of RTP fragments without ever transmitting an end-of-fragment marker, causing the reassembly buffer to grow without bound until process memory is exhausted. This results in a denial of service through process termination.
A flaw was found in Netty. SpdySessionHandler accepts an unlimited number of concurrent remote-initiated streams because localConcurrentStreams defaults to Integer.MAX_VALUE and the handler provides no API to change it. A remote peer can open a SPDY connection and send a large number of SYN_STREAM frames with FLAG_FIN=0, causing unbounded heap and direct memory allocation that can lead to JVM OutOfMemoryError and a denial of service.
ImageMagick before 7.1.2-31 and before 6.9.13-56 contains a policy bypass in the PCD (and, per the upstream advisory, CUBE and HALD) coder: when a specific command line option is supplied, the decoder does not check a configured resource limit, which can result in extra memory allocation. A local user able to pass command line options to ImageMagick can therefore exceed the intended memory policy limit, causing a limited availability impact. The issue is fixed in 7.1.2-31 and 6.9.13-56.
vLLM through 0.29.0 fails to properly clean up decode-side metadata for rejected inference requests in prefill/decode disaggregated deployments. Remote attackers can submit requests with max_tokens=0 to exhaust decode-worker memory without bound until the worker restarts.
braces through 3.0.3 contains a stack overflow vulnerability in the recursive AST walkers that lack depth guards. Attackers can supply deeply nested brace patterns under the character limit to exhaust the call stack and terminate the Node.js process with an uncaught RangeError.
vLLM through 0.29.0 fails to validate the tp_size parameter in kv_transfer_params on OpenAI-compatible completion endpoints, allowing attackers to allocate unbounded memory. Attackers can supply arbitrary tp_size values in prefill/decode disaggregated deployments to exhaust memory and trigger kernel OOM-kill of the decode worker process.
CSSOM through 0.5.0 contains a denial of service vulnerability in CSSStyleDeclaration.setProperty() that fails to validate reserved property names. Attackers can supply a stylesheet with a declaration named length to replace the internal counter and trigger excessive memory allocation during cssText serialization, causing process termination.
vLLM through 0.29.0 contains a denial of service vulnerability in P2P KV offloading when OffloadingConnector is configured with TieringOffloadingSpec and a peer-to-peer secondary tier. Attackers can supply arbitrary remote host and port values in kv_transfer_params to create unreachable peer sessions that retain ZeroMQ sockets until the context quota is exhausted, causing an uncaught ZMQError that crashes EngineCore and stops all inference.
Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. From 3.9.0 until 4.14.5 and 5.0.0-beta2, the Wazuh cluster protocol in framework/wazuh/core/cluster/common.py allows an authenticated cluster node to exhaust memory on the master. The receive_str() method accepts an attacker-controlled total for InBuffer without a maximum, so a new_str command can request a multi-gigabyte bytearray and repeated requests accumulate in in_str. The divided-message path also retains flag_divided fragments under unique counters in div_msg_box without a count, aggregate-size, or expiration limit. Exploitation can disrupt agent connectivity and alert processing across the monitored environment. This issue is fixed in versions 4.14.5 and 5.0.0-beta2.
Denial-of-Service in Redis module in Thinkst Canary's OpenCanary 0.9.9 allows an unauthenticated remote attacker cause unconstrained memory usage.
Mattermost versions 11.9.x <= 11.9.1, 11.8.x <= 11.8.5, 11.7.x <= 11.7.10, 11.10.x <= 11.10.1 fail to limit the length of the post ID array accepted by the bulk reactions endpoint which allows an authenticated user to cause excessive database load via a crafted request to {{POST /api/v4/posts/ids/reactions}}.. Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00771
| An HTTP endpoint intended for provisioning enterprise and reseller organisations is reachable without any session. The authentication middleware is bound only to an explicit list of controllers, and the enterprise controller is not on that list, so no authentication runs for these routes.
The endpoint's only check is that the request body carries a token bearing a valid signature from the instance secret. It does not check what that token was issued for. Login tokens are signed with the same secret and carry no purpose, audience or expiry claim, so an ordinary user's own session token satisfies the check.
Presented with such a token, the endpoint creates a new organisation holding the highest subscription tier, flagged as lifetime and with a channel allowance far above any sold plan, creates an organisation-owner account alongside it, and returns the new organisation's API key in the response body. That key is immediately valid against the public API. |
Zapros, a Python HTTP client, prior to version 0.14.0 is vulnerable to denial of service via memory exhaustion. The issue affects all callers who streamed compressed responses relying on the chunk size — explicit (`iter_bytes(chunk_size=...)`) or the default — to bound memory. The decoder ignored that bound, so a chunk could be far larger than requested and a single compressed response could overflow memory. Version 0.14.0 contains a patch. Some workarounds are available. Read the still-compressed body with `Response.iter_raw()` / `Response.async_iter_raw()`, which bypass the built-in decoders, and decompress it yourself with an explicit output-size bound (e.g. `zlib`'s `max_length`), aborting once a configured limit is exceeded. Where feasible, send `Accept-Encoding: identity` to disable response compression so bodies are not decompressed client-side. Avoid decoding response bodies from untrusted servers.
Transient DOS when processing large or numerous request buffers without sufficient memory allocation validation.
A flaw was found in Netty's HttpServerCodec. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by pipelining HTTP/1.1 requests on a single connection and withholding reads. This action causes the methodOverflowQueue to grow without limit, leading to unbounded heap memory consumption and a denial of service due to memory exhaustion.
A stack overflow vulnerability was found in gfs2-utils. The metadata walk code in metawalk.c uses alloca() with an untrusted inode height value from on-disk metadata without bounds validation, causing stack exhaustion and a denial of service when processing crafted GFS2 filesystem images.
A stack overflow vulnerability was found in gfs2-utils. The hash table traversal code in metawalk.c uses alloca() with an exponentially-derived size from the untrusted on-disk di_depth field without bounds validation. A crafted GFS2 filesystem image with a large di_depth value causes stack exhaustion and a denial of service when processed by fsck.gfs2, gfs2_edit, or savemeta.
A vulnerability was found in vllm-project vllm up to 0.29.0. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file vllm/v1/sample/thinking_budget_state.py. The manipulation results in inefficient algorithmic complexity. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance.
A flaw was found in the DERDecoder class within wildfly-elytron-asn1. A remote attacker can exploit this resource exhaustion vulnerability by sending a specially crafted DER (Distinguished Encoding Rules) payload. The decoder attempts to allocate excessive memory based on an inflated length value without proper validation, leading to Java Virtual Machine (JVM) memory exhaustion. This results in a remote Denial of Service (DoS) for services that process untrusted DER/ASN.1 input, including SASL (Simple Authentication and Security Layer) authentication mechanisms and X.500 certificate principal parsing paths.
