CVSS v3.1 |
A flaw was found in FreeIPA's idp-add command, where insufficiently validated --organization/--base-url input reaches a constrained eval() call before the corresponding LDAP access control check is enforced. This allows any authenticated IPA principal, regardless of privilege level, to enumerate and read the environment variables of the affected server process and to cause denial of service via memory exhaustion.
A flaw was found in sos clean, a utility within the sos package. This vulnerability allows a local attacker to perform arbitrary file creation or overwrite. By crafting a malicious tar archive, an attacker can exploit a path traversal issue during tar extraction, where symlink and hardlink targets are not properly validated. This enables the attacker to write files to arbitrary locations on the system with the privileges of the sos clean process, which often runs as root.
A flaw was found in the file-pcx plugin in GIMP, affecting 32-bit builds only. When processing a PCX image file, the plugin calculates memory allocation sizes based on the image dimensions and the number of color planes. If a crafted file sets the number of planes to 4 alongside sufficiently large dimensions, the calculation exceeds the 32-bit integer limit and overflows, resulting in an undersized heap-based buffer allocation. This integer overflow issue results in a heap-based buffer overflow when the plugin subsequently writes image data into the undersized buffer, causing memory corruption, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution or a denial of service.
The X-mount.subdir option uses a detached-tree fast path on Linux 6.15 and later and passes the configured subdirectory to open_tree() with AT_SYMLINK_NOFOLLOW. That flag does not stop intermediate symlink traversal or keep resolution inside the newly mounted filesystem. A local unprivileged user with an fstab-authorized X-mount.subdir entry can attach a host path at the intended mountpoint.
A flaw was found in udisks2. A local attacker with an active console session can exploit insufficient authorization checking on the 'as-user' option in the org.freedesktop.UDisks2.Filesystem.Mount() D-Bus method. This allows the attacker to spoof the 'as-user' parameter, mounting filesystems on behalf of arbitrary users, including privileged accounts. This can lead to local privilege escalation through mount point injection and manipulation of the mount namespace visible to privileged users.
A flaw was found in FreeIPA. The self-managed OTP token ACI does not require authentication and does not restrict which attributes may be added alongside the token entry. An unauthenticated LDAP client can exploit this, combined with a related flaw in the underlying directory server's ACI evaluation (tracked separately), to create an arbitrary attacker-controlled Kerberos principal and have it added to the administrators group. This allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to obtain genuine FreeIPA administrator-group membership and perform administrative operations against the directory and, on SID-enabled deployments, other IdM services.
A flaw was found in Dogtag PKI, as used by FreeIPA's certificate authority component. The certificate profile import functionality does not fully validate uploaded profile content beyond the profile ID. An authenticated user with CA Administrator privileges can exploit Dogtag's ExternalProcessConstraint mechanism to execute arbitrary commands with attacker-controlled environment variables, achieving code execution as the pkiuser account.
A flaw was found in 389 Directory Server. The SELFDN ACI bind-rule evaluator incorrectly matches an anonymous LDAP client's empty bind DN against an empty stored attribute value, allowing an unauthenticated client to satisfy access control checks intended to require a matching authenticated identity. This can allow an anonymous LDAP client to perform an operation, such as adding or modifying a directory entry, that a SELFDN-based ACI intended to restrict to a specific authenticated user.
UI misrepresentation in PageInfo in Google Chrome on on iOS prior to 157.0.8103.38 allowed a remote attacker to spoof UI elements via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A vulnerability was found in Campcodes Complete Sales and Inventory System with Credit Management 1.0. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file /ahira/login.php. Performing a manipulation of the argument branch results in sql injection. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used.
| A privilege escalation flaw was found in the scan_mysql actor of leapp-upgrade-el9toel10 (provided by leapp-repository). During RHEL 9 to RHEL 10 upgrades, the actor runs:
mysqld --validate-config --log-error-verbosity=2 directly as root in the Leapp actor context, bypassing the packaged MySQL systemd unit that normally starts the daemon as User=mysql.
A process compromised as the mysql OS identity can write a version-2 persisted configuration (mysqld-auto.cnf) and a malicious shared object into /var/lib/mysql (a directory owned by mysql). That persisted map can set plugin_dir to /var/lib/mysql and early_plugin_load (or related loader options such as plugin_load / plugin_load_add) so MySQL loads the attacker-controlled object during configuration validation. Plugin loading can reach dlopen() before MySQL’s runtime-user check and before plugin-symbol validation.
When an administrator subsequently runs the documented Leapp preupgrade or upgrade workflow, attacker-controlled code can execute as UID 0 with a full capability set in an unconfined SELinux domain (unconfined_t). The attack does not require write access to the default system plugin path under /usr; redirecting plugin_dir via mysql-owned persisted state is sufficient. Ordinary SQL privileges alone (including highly privileged SQL accounts) are not a sufficient startpoint — OS-level execution as the mysql service identity is required, plus later administrator invocation of Leapp. |
A flaw was found in libxml2 with Python bindings enabled. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by providing a specially crafted XML document containing a Document Type Definition (DTD) with enumerated attribute values. This triggers a double-free error in the SAX attributeDecl callback handler, where a string is freed twice. This flaw can lead to a denial of service (DoS) due to a reproducible crash in Python applications using the libxml2 SAX bindings.
A flaw was found in iperf3. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted control-channel JSON with oversized numeric parameters, such as `parallel` and `len`, which are not properly validated by the server. This improper input validation can lead to excessive stream and thread creation, as well as large buffer allocations, causing resource exhaustion. Consequently, this can result in a Denial of Service (DoS) on the affected iperf3 server.
A flaw was found in binutils. A heap-buffer-overflow vulnerability exists when processing a specially crafted XCOFF (Extended Common Object File Format) object file during linking. A local attacker could trick a user into processing this malicious file, which could lead to arbitrary code execution, allowing the attacker to run unauthorized commands, or cause a denial of service, making the system unavailable.
Frappe Learning Management System (LMS) is a learning system that helps users structure their content. Prior to version 2.54.0, quiz submission records are not adequately authorized on the server. Through a `REST` bypass, an authenticated student can record a passing or perfect quiz result without their answers being verified, unlocking course completion and certificates. The student can also create a submission attributed to another user, exhausting that user's allowed attempts and blocking legitimate submissions. These integrity and availability issues are scoped to quiz results; they do not expose other users' data or grant elevated roles. This issue is fixed in version 2.54.0.
libass is a portable subtitle renderer for the ASS/SSA (Advanced Substation Alpha/Substation Alpha) subtitle format. From 0.17.4 until 0.17.5, libass event pruning does not guard negative Matroska `ReadOrder` values, allowing an attacker to clear arbitrarily many bits to zero at attacker-controlled positions near the NULL pointer. Exploitation requires a malicious Matroska stream loaded through `ass_process_chunk`, enabled read-order checking, and later pruning of the malicious events. Read-order checking is enabled by default unless `ass_set_check_readorder` is called with zero; pruning must occur explicitly through `ass_prune_events` or through automatic pruning previously enabled with `ass_configure_prune`. On common systems with arithmetic right shift, 32-bit int values, the upper address region reserved to the kernel, and matching binary/kernel architecture, the expected consequence is denial of service. More extensive exploitation on uncommon systems is theoretical and strongly constrained by the target addresses, bit-clearing-only mutation, and ASLR. This issue is fixed in version 0.17.5.
Chamilo LMS is an open-source learning management system. From 2.0.0 until 2.0.1, `GET /user/{username}` is anonymously reachable and renders six user-editable profile fields (`firstname`, `lastname`, `competences`, `openarea`, `teach`, and `diplomas`) inside `{% autoescape false %}`, without server-side sanitization on the write path. A ROLE_STUDENT attacker can plant HTML in their own profile; self-registration, when enabled, lets an otherwise anonymous attacker obtain that role. The stored content executes in the browser of any visitor, including administrators, who follows the public profile link, potentially allowing account takeover through session, JWT, or `localStorage` exfiltration. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.1.
Chamilo LMS is an open-source learning management system. In the 1.x line before 1.11.40, and the 2.x line before 2.0.1, multiple `eval()` calls in the vendored PEAR `HTML_QuickForm` libraries can execute arbitrary PHP code if form element names contain attacker-influenced data. Standard Chamilo forms use hardcoded element names; exploitation requires a developer-specific plugin or misconfiguration that lets user input reach those element names. Where that conditional path exists, the impact can be full server compromise. This issue is fixed in versions 1.11.40 and 2.0.1.
Blender before 4.5.15 and 5.x before 5.2.3 contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the blend file thumbnail extractor caused by 32-bit integer overflow in thumb_data_vertical_flip(). Attackers can craft a .blend file with malicious TEST block dimensions that trigger an out-of-bounds write when blender-thumbnailer or the Windows shell extension previews it, causing crashes or code execution.
NocoDB before 2026.08.0 contains a clickjacking vulnerability that allows any origin to frame the authenticated interface because no X-Frame-Options or CSP frame-ancestors headers are sent. Attackers can overlay a signed-in user's session from a malicious page, tricking clicks that modify or delete records, change sharing settings, or invite collaborators.
