CVSS v3.1 |
| Uncontrolled resource consumption for some Edge Orchestrator software for Intel(R) Tiberâ„¢ Edge Platform may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable denial of service via adjacent access. |
| It is possible to construct a zone such that some queries to it will generate responses containing numerous records in the Additional section. An attacker sending many such queries can cause either the authoritative server itself or an independent resolver to use disproportionate resources processing the queries. Zones will usually need to have been deliberately crafted to attack this exposure.
This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.11.37, 9.16.0 through 9.16.50, 9.18.0 through 9.18.32, 9.20.0 through 9.20.4, 9.21.0 through 9.21.3, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.11.37-S1, 9.16.8-S1 through 9.16.50-S1, and 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.32-S1. |
| Net::IMAP implements Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) client functionality in Ruby. Starting in version 0.3.2 and prior to versions 0.3.8, 0.4.19, and 0.5.6, there is a possibility for denial of service by memory exhaustion in `net-imap`'s response parser. At any time while the client is connected, a malicious server can send can send highly compressed `uid-set` data which is automatically read by the client's receiver thread. The response parser uses `Range#to_a` to convert the `uid-set` data into arrays of integers, with no limitation on the expanded size of the ranges. Versions 0.3.8, 0.4.19, 0.5.6, and higher fix this issue. Additional details for proper configuration of fixed versions and backward compatibility are available in the GitHub Security Advisory. |
| fs2 is a compositional, streaming I/O library for Scala. Versions up to and including 2.5.12, 3.0.0-M1 through 3.12.2, and 3.13.0-M1 through 3.13.0-M6 are vulnerable to denial of service attacks though TLS sessions using fs2-io on the JVM using the fs2.io.net.tls package. When establishing a TLS session, if one side of the connection shuts down `write` while the peer side is awaiting more data to progress the TLS handshake, the peer side will spin loop on the socket read, fully utilizing a CPU. The CPU is consumed until the overall connection is closed, potentially shutting down a fs2-io powered server. This issue is fixed in versions 2.5.13, 3.12.1, and 3.13.0-M7. |
| The Ruby SAML library is for implementing the client side of a SAML authorization. In versions 1.18.0 and below, a denial-of-service vulnerability exists in ruby-saml even with the message_max_bytesize setting configured. The vulnerability occurs because the SAML response is validated for Base64 format prior to checking the message size, leading to potential resource exhaustion. This is fixed in version 1.18.1. |
| A flaw was found in NetworkManager. When a system running NetworkManager with DEBUG logs enabled and an interface eth1 configured with LLDP enabled, a malicious user could inject a malformed LLDP packet. NetworkManager would crash, leading to a denial of service. |
| An issue in O-RAN Near Realtime RIC ric-plt-submgr in the J-Release environment, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (DoS) via a crafted request to the Subscription Manager API component. |
| A vulnerability was found in Ackites KillWxapkg up to 2.4.1. It has been rated as problematic. This issue affects some unknown processing of the component wxapkg File Decompression Handler. The manipulation leads to resource consumption. The attack may be initiated remotely. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| Uncontrolled resource consumption in the Linux kernel-mode driver for some Intel(R) 700 Series Ethernet before version 2.28.5 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable denial of service. |
| Hardware logic with insecure de-synchronization in Intel(R) DSA and Intel(R) IAA for some Intel(R) 4th or 5th generation Xeon(R) processors may allow an authorized user to potentially enable escalation of privilege local access |
| A vulnerability was found in RefindPlusRepo RefindPlus 0.14.2.AB and classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is the function GetDebugLogFile of the file Library/MemLogLib/BootLog.c. The manipulation leads to null pointer dereference. Attacking locally is a requirement. The patch is identified as d2143a1e2deefddd9b105fb7160763c4f8d47ea2. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. |
| lakeFS is an open-source tool that transforms your object storage into a Git-like repository. In affected versions an authenticated user can crash lakeFS by exhausting server memory. This is an authenticated denial-of-service issue. This problem has been patched in version 1.50.0. Users on versions 1.49.1 and below are affected. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should either set the environment variable `LAKEFS_BLOCKSTORE_S3_DISABLE_PRE_SIGNED_MULTIPART` to `true` or configure the `disable_pre_signed_multipart` key to true in their config yaml. |
| A vulnerability was determined in TOZED ZLT M30S and ZLT M30S PRO 1.47/3.09.06. This impacts an unknown function of the file /reqproc/proc_post of the component Web Interface. Executing manipulation of the argument goformId with the input REBOOT_DEVICE can lead to denial of service. The attack can only be done within the local network. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A weakness has been identified in SpyShelter up to 15.4.0.1015. Affected is an unknown function in the library SpyShelter.sys of the component IOCTL Handler. This manipulation causes denial of service. The attack needs to be launched locally. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be exploited. Upgrading to version 15.4.0.1028 is able to address this issue. It is advisable to upgrade the affected component. |
| An issue in XINJE XL5E-16T V3.7.2a allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted Modbus message. |
| Botan is a C++ cryptography library. X.509 certificates can identify elliptic curves using either an object identifier or using explicit encoding of the parameters. Prior to versions 3.3.0 and 2.19.4, an attacker could present an ECDSA X.509 certificate using explicit encoding where the parameters are very large. The proof of concept used a 16Kbit prime for this purpose. When parsing, the parameter is checked to be prime, causing excessive computation. This was patched in 2.19.4 and 3.3.0 to allow the prime parameter of the elliptic curve to be at most 521 bits. No known workarounds are available. Note that support for explicit encoding of elliptic curve parameters is deprecated in Botan. |
| Querying for records within a specially crafted zone containing certain malformed DNSKEY records can lead to CPU exhaustion.
This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.18.0 through 9.18.39, 9.20.0 through 9.20.13, 9.21.0 through 9.21.12, 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.39-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.13-S1. |
| A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in INW Krbyyyzo 25.2002. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file /gbo.aspx of the component Daily Huddle Site. The manipulation of the argument s leads to resource consumption. It is possible to launch the attack on the local host. Other endpoints might be affected as well. |
| A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in Victor Zsviot Camera 8.26.31. This affects an unknown part of the component MQTT Packet Handler. The manipulation leads to denial of service. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The identifier VDB-265077 was assigned to this vulnerability. NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Positive Technologies MaxPatrol 8 and XSpider contain a remote denial-of-service vulnerability in the client communication service on TCP port 2002. The service generates a new session identifier for each incoming connection without adequately limiting concurrent requests. An unauthenticated remote attacker can repeatedly issue HTTPS requests to the service, causing excessive allocation of session identifiers. Under load, session identifier collisions may occur, forcing active client sessions to disconnect and resulting in service disruption. |
