CVSS v3.1 |
| The Hostel plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'custom_currency' parameter and the 'locale_url' setting in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This only affects multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled. |
| Novu provides an API for sending notifications through multiple channels. Prior to 3.18.0, Novu's @novu/js In-App Inbox and the @novu/react Inbox component accept a notification call-to-action redirect.url from the v1 cta.data object and pass it through apps/api/src/app/inbox/utils/notification-mapper.ts and packages/js/src/ui/components/Notification/DefaultNotification.tsx to the navigate function in packages/js/src/ui/context/InboxContext.tsx without validating its URL scheme. An authenticated organization member or environment API-key holder can store a javascript: redirect with target _self in an in-app workflow. When a recipient using a Chromium-based browser clicks the notification, window.open executes the redirect in the current inbox-hosting origin, which can expose session material and permit authenticated actions in a customer application or the self-hosted Novu dashboard. This issue is fixed in version 3.18.0. |
| Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager OSS/Pro versions before 3.25.1 allow XSS (issue 1 of 2). |
| Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager OSS/Pro versions before 3.25.1 allow XSS (Issue 2 of 2). |
| An authenticated user with upload permission to a hosted repository can store content that causes arbitrary JavaScript to execute in the browser of any user who browses that repository directory via the HTML index page in Sonatype Nexus Repository versions 3.6.0 through versions before 3.92.0. This could allow the attacker to perform actions in the context of the victim's session. |
| A vulnerability has been found in SourceCodester Online Food Ordering System 1.0. The affected element is an unknown function of the file /admin/update_category.php of the component Category Update. The manipulation leads to cross site scripting. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| IBM Financial Transaction Manager for SWIFT Services for Multiplatforms 3.2.4.0 through 3.2.4.16 is vulnerable to cross-site scripting. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI thus altering the intended functionality potentially leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session. |
| MISP contains a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the event REST search export confirmation form. The view template app/View/Events/ajax/eventRestSearchExportConfirmationForm.ctp renders a URL-supplied event ID list into a single-quoted JavaScript string literal using PHP's json_encode() without any hex-encoding flags. By default, json_encode() escapes double quotes and backslashes but does not escape single quotes. Because the JavaScript string is delimited by single quotes, an attacker can inject a single-quote character to terminate the string literal and execute arbitrary JavaScript in the victim's browser session.
The vulnerability affects the Default and UiBeta themes, both of which render this view. The Overmind theme's own copy of the form already passed the value through an escaped data attribute and was not affected by this specific sink.
Preconditions: the victim must be an authenticated MISP user and must actively open or navigate to the attacker-crafted URL. The attacker does not require an account or any prior access to the MISP instance.
Security impact: successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the MISP web application, potentially leading to session hijacking, unauthorized actions performed on behalf of the victim, exfiltration of sensitive data visible in the session, or further client-side attacks. The vulnerable component's own confidentiality, integrity, and availability are not directly compromised; the impact is on the underlying user session. |
| MISP contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the admin email composition screen. The MISP.org organization name setting was interpolated directly into a JavaScript string literal using an unescaped PHP echo: var org = "<?php echo $org;?>";. Because the value was placed inside a double-quoted JavaScript string without any encoding, an organization name containing a double-quote character (or a backslash) could terminate the string literal and inject arbitrary JavaScript into the page. The injected script would execute in the context of any authenticated user who subsequently loads the admin email page, potentially allowing session hijacking, data exfiltration, or privileged actions performed on behalf of the victim.
Exploitation requires the ability to set or modify the MISP.org organization name and a second authenticated user visiting the affected admin email view.
The vulnerability is a classic instance of insufficient output encoding in a JavaScript context. |
| Nexus Repository 3 was found to be vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting (XSS). A user with the nexus:blobstores:create or nexus:blobstores:update permission could set a blob store name containing malicious script content, which would later execute in the browser of another user viewing system health-check status. This issue has been fixed in version 3.95.0. |
| MISP contains a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the attribute histogram view. The $selectedTypes variable, which is derived from the URL path segment , was interpolated directly into a JavaScript array literal inside an onClick HTML attribute without any encoding or escaping. An attacker who can cause an authenticated MISP user to visit a crafted URL containing a malicious type value can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the victim's browser within the MISP application origin.
Successful exploitation allows the attacker to read session cookies, perform actions on behalf of the victim, or exfiltrate sensitive data accessible from the MISP interface.
The vulnerability requires the victim to be authenticated and to actively navigate to the attacker-supplied URL. |
| MISP contains a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the AnalystDataController::viewForObject action. The method accepted a parent object type parameter from the URL without validation and passed it to the Overmind-themed AnalystData thread view element, where it was interpolated into two translated strings and rendered into the HTML response without output encoding. An authenticated attacker who can induce a victim to navigate to a crafted URL can inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes in the victim's browser within the MISP application context. This may allow the attacker to read session data, manipulate the page, or perform actions on behalf of the victim.
The vulnerability requires the victim to be authenticated to MISP and to actively visit the attacker-supplied URL. The affected component is the AnalystData controller and the Overmind theme's AnalystData thread element.
Version affected: <2.5.47 |
| A vulnerability was identified in aiyiyi121 SxDevOps 1.0/1.1. This vulnerability affects the function ensure_default_superuser of the file rbac/services.py. The manipulation leads to hard-coded credentials. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The identifier of the patch is 2b4bf8585c3e731e7a8af30801ea46680bc783f9. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. The vendor was contacted early, responded in a very professional manner and quickly released a fixed version of the affected product. |
| SiYuan through 3.8.4 renders notebook names as raw HTML in the Daily Note picker dialog without escaping, allowing stored cross-site scripting in the Electron renderer. Attackers can create notebooks with HTML payloads in names that execute JavaScript with Node.js access when the picker opens, enabling operating system command execution. |
| A flaw has been found in a2ui-project a2ui up to 0.10.7. Affected is an unknown function of the file samples/community/client/angular/projects/a2a-chat-canvas/src/lib/services/sanitizer-markdown-renderer-service.ts of the component a2a-chat-canvas. Executing a manipulation can lead to cross site scripting. The attack may be performed from remote. |
| A vulnerability was identified in code-projects Record Management System 1.0. Affected is an unknown function of the file main/reg.php. Such manipulation of the argument desc leads to cross site scripting. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. |
| File Viewer is a browser-native viewer for Office, PDF, CAD, archive, and other files in private and internal web applications. Prior to @file-viewer/doc 2.3.1 and msdoc-viewer 0.2.2, the legacy DOC renderer emitted document-controlled hyperlink targets into generated HTML after character escaping but without restricting URL schemes. A crafted legacy DOC file could place javascript:, vbscript:, data:, or another unsafe scheme in a rendered link, and script could execute in the embedding application's origin when a user clicked the link. The fix blocks external document links by default, allows only HTTP(S), mail, telephone, safe relative URLs, and internal bookmarks when external links are explicitly enabled, and applies mount-boundary sanitization as defense in depth. This issue is fixed in @file-viewer/doc 2.3.1 and msdoc-viewer 0.2.2. |
| Open edX Platform enables the authoring and delivery of online learning at any scale. From Redwood until Ulmo and Verawood.1, the add_additional_attributes_to_notifications function in openedx/core/djangoapps/notifications/email/utils.py assigns notification content without sanitizing discussion-title values produced by get_notification_content in openedx/core/djangoapps/notifications/base_notification.py. An enrolled student can place CSS-capable markup in the post_title value supplied by lms/djangoapps/discussion/rest_api/discussions_notifications.py. Digest and batched-email rendering then passes that value through openedx/core/djangoapps/notifications/templates/notifications/digest_content.html as safe HTML, allowing email-open tracking and content spoofing or phishing when another learner opens a CSS-rendering client. The immediate-email path is not affected because it strips title markup and renders a separately sanitized body. This issue is fixed in Ulmo and Verawood.1. |
| Semantic MediaWiki is a free, open-source extension to MediaWiki that lets users store and query data within the wiki's pages. Prior to version 7.2.0, when `headers=plain`, table header text was emitted into `<th>` via a raw HTML path. User-controlled `mainlabel` content could therefore become executable HTML. Version 7.2.0 fixes the issue. |
| Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. Prior to 2026.7.0, the post action component failed to escape user-controlled display names before interpolating them into an HTML string passed to trustHTML. A user who could choose a crafted display name could persist markup in post action descriptions. Viewing the affected user activity streams could execute attacker-controlled script in another user's browser. This issue is fixed in version 2026.7.0. |
