CVE-2026-35213 2 Content Project, Hapijs 2 Content, Content 2026-04-16 7.5 High
@hapi/content provided HTTP Content-* headers parsing. All versions of @hapi/content through 6.0.0 are vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) via crafted HTTP header values. Three regular expressions used to parse Content-Type and Content-Disposition headers contain patterns susceptible to catastrophic backtracking. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.0.1.
CVE-2026-35611 2 Addressable Project, Sporkmonger 2 Addressable, Addressable 2026-04-15 7.5 High
Addressable is an alternative implementation to the URI implementation that is part of Ruby's standard library. From 2.3.0 to before 2.9.0, within the URI template implementation in Addressable, two classes of URI template generate regular expressions vulnerable to catastrophic backtracking. Templates using the * (explode) modifier with any expansion operator (e.g., {foo*}, {+var*}, {#var*}, {/var*}, {.var*}, {;var*}, {?var*}, {&var*}) generate patterns with nested unbounded quantifiers that are O(2^n) when matched against a maliciously crafted URI. Templates using multiple variables with the + or # operators (e.g., {+v1,v2,v3}) generate patterns with O(n^k) complexity due to the comma separator being within the matched character class, causing ambiguous backtracking across k variables. When matched against a maliciously crafted URI, this can result in catastrophic backtracking and uncontrolled resource consumption, leading to denial of service. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.9.0.
CVE-2026-35458 2 Gotenberg, Thecodingmachine 2 Gotenberg, Gotenberg 2026-04-15 9.8 Critical
Gotenberg is an API for converting document formats. In 8.29.1 and earlier, Gotenberg uses dlclark/regexp2 to compile user-supplied scope patterns without setting a proper timeout. Users with access to features using this logic can hang workers indefinitely.
CVE-2026-35041 1 Nearform 1 Fast-jwt 2026-04-15 4.2 Medium
fast-jwt provides fast JSON Web Token (JWT) implementation. From 5.0.0 to 6.2.0, a denial-of-service condition exists in fast-jwt when the allowedAud verification option is configured using a regular expression. Because the aud claim is attacker-controlled and the library evaluates it against the supplied RegExp, a crafted JWT can trigger catastrophic backtracking in the JavaScript regex engine, resulting in significant CPU consumption during verification. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.2.1.
CVE-2024-47887 1 Rubyonrails 1 Rails 2026-04-15 3.7 Low
Action Pack is a framework for handling and responding to web requests. Starting in version 4.0.0 and prior to versions 6.1.7.9, 7.0.8.5, 7.1.4.1, and 7.2.1.1, there is a possible ReDoS vulnerability in Action Controller's HTTP Token authentication. For applications using HTTP Token authentication via `authenticate_or_request_with_http_token` or similar, a carefully crafted header may cause header parsing to take an unexpected amount of time, possibly resulting in a DoS vulnerability. All users running an affected release should either upgrade to versions 6.1.7.9, 7.0.8.5, 7.1.4.1, or 7.2.1.1 or apply the relevant patch immediately. One may choose to use Ruby 3.2 as a workaround.Ruby 3.2 has mitigations for this problem, so Rails applications using Ruby 3.2 or newer are unaffected. Rails 8.0.0.beta1 depends on Ruby 3.2 or greater so is unaffected.
CVE-2020-26307 1 Kates 1 Html2markdown 2026-04-15 N/A
HTML2Markdown is a Javascript implementation for converting HTML to Markdown text. All available versions contain one or more regular expressions that are vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS). As of time of publication, no known patches are available.
CVE-2024-45813 1 Redhat 3 Acm, Multicluster Engine, Openshift Devspaces 2026-04-15 5.3 Medium
find-my-way is a fast, open source HTTP router, internally using a Radix Tree (aka compact Prefix Tree), supports route params, wildcards, and it's framework independent. A bad regular expression is generated any time one has two parameters within a single segment, when adding a `-` at the end, like `/:a-:b-`. This may cause a denial of service in some instances. Users are advised to update to find-my-way v8.2.2 or v9.0.1. or subsequent versions. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
CVE-2025-69873 2 Ajv-validator, Ajv.js 2 Ajv, Ajv 2026-04-15 2.9 Low
ajv (Another JSON Schema Validator) before 8.18.0 is vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) when the $data option is enabled. The pattern keyword accepts runtime data via JSON Pointer syntax ($data reference), which is passed directly to the JavaScript RegExp() constructor without validation. An attacker can inject a malicious regex pattern (e.g., "^(a|a)*$") combined with crafted input to cause catastrophic backtracking. A 31-character payload causes approximately 44 seconds of CPU blocking, with each additional character doubling execution time. This enables complete denial of service with a single HTTP request against any API using ajv with $data: true for dynamic schema validation. This issue is also fixed in version 6.14.0.
CVE-2025-58451 2026-04-15 N/A
Cattown is a JavaScript markdown parser. Versions prior to 1.0.2 used regular expressions with inefficient, potentially exponential worst-case complexity. This could cause excessive CPU usage due to excessive backtracking on crafted inputs. In turn, the excessive CPU usage could lead to resource exhaustion, where processing malicious inputs could cause high CPU or memory usage, potentially leading to denial of service. Version 1.0.2 contains a patch. Additionally, users should review and restrict input sources if untrusted inputs are processed.
CVE-2025-4690 1 Angularjs 1 Angularjs 2026-04-15 4.3 Medium
A regular expression used by AngularJS'  linky https://docs.angularjs.org/api/ngSanitize/filter/linky  filter to detect URLs in input text is vulnerable to super-linear runtime due to backtracking. With a large carefully-crafted input, this can cause a Regular expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) https://owasp.org/www-community/attacks/Regular_expression_Denial_of_Service_-_ReDoS  attack on the application. This issue affects all versions of AngularJS. Note: The AngularJS project is End-of-Life and will not receive any updates to address this issue. For more information see here https://docs.angularjs.org/misc/version-support-status .

CVE-2025-48059 2026-04-15 N/A
PowSyBl (Power System Blocks) is a framework to build power system oriented software. In com.powsybl:powsybl-iidm-criteria versions 6.3.0 to before 6.7.2 and com.powsybl:powsybl-contingency-api versions 5.0.0 to before 6.3.0, there is a a potential polynomial Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) vulnerability in the RegexCriterion class. This class compiles and evaluates an unvalidated, user-supplied regular expression against the identifier of an Identifiable object via Pattern.compile(regex).matcher(id).find(). If successfully exploited, a malicious actor can cause significant CPU exhaustion through repeated or recursive filter(...) calls — especially if performed over large network models or filtering operations. This issue has been patched in com.powsybl:powsybl-iidm-criteria 6.7.2.
CVE-2024-45296 2 Pillarjs, Redhat 19 Path-to-regexp, Acm, Ansible Automation Platform and 16 more 2026-04-15 7.5 High
path-to-regexp turns path strings into a regular expressions. In certain cases, path-to-regexp will output a regular expression that can be exploited to cause poor performance. Because JavaScript is single threaded and regex matching runs on the main thread, poor performance will block the event loop and lead to a DoS. The bad regular expression is generated any time you have two parameters within a single segment, separated by something that is not a period (.). For users of 0.1, upgrade to 0.1.10. All other users should upgrade to 8.0.0.
