| DigitalCanion has discovered a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that allows an authenticated malicious user to inject persistent JavaScript or HTML content into the web application.
The specific flaw exists within the web portal listening on TCP port 443, under Configuration → Domains, specifically in the “Description” field. The application fails to properly validate or sanitize user-supplied input before storing and subsequently rendering the field.
By injecting malicious JavaScript into the Description field, an attacker can modify the content and behavior of the affected page when it is viewed by other users. This could allow an attacker to alter the page's appearance, display attacker-controlled content, or construct convincing phishing scenarios within the application's trusted web context. |
| DigitalCanion has discovered a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that allows an authenticated malicious user to inject persistent JavaScript or HTML content, resulting in a denial-of-service condition within the web application.
The specific flaw exists within the web portal listening on TCP port 443, under Configuration → Users → Users List. The vulnerability occurs in the “Microsoft Exchange mailbox” field, which fails to properly validate or sanitize user-supplied input before storing and rendering it.
By injecting malicious JavaScript into this field, an attacker can cause the payload to execute whenever the affected user properties are accessed. This can prevent access to the affected user properties and result in a denial-of-service condition within the application's user-management functionality. |
| Joomla Extension - joomshaper.com - Reflected XSS in the Dynamic Content Filter addon in SP Page Builder Pro 3.0.0 - 5.6.1p2 - The slider minimum and maximum values are taken from the dc_filter_<fieldId> request parameter, split on the delimiter "l-r", HTML-escaped inside the data-value attribute, and then echoed without escaping as the span element's text content. An unauthenticated attacker reflects arbitrary HTML or JavaScript into the rendered page through a crafted dc_filter_<fieldId> value. |
| Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 4.22.0 until 6.65.0, SVG media thumbnails and SVG images uploaded with a non-SVG file extension were stored without sanitization. This allowed any staff user, including Contributors, to host scripts on the site's domain, possibly resulting in compromise of other staff users' admin sessions. This issue is fixed in version 6.65.0. |
| Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 2.1.0 until 6.64.0, embedding a URL from an attacker-controlled website could result in untrusted scripts being stored in post content. These scripts could run in the Ghost editor, on the published site, and in newsletter emails, possibly resulting in compromise of a staff user's admin session. This issue is fixed in version 6.64.0. |
| Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 5.94.0 until 6.64.0, when creating a bookmark card, Ghost could store non-image files fetched from an external website as bookmark icons or thumbnails. This allowed any staff user, including Contributors, to host arbitrary HTML on the site's domain, possibly resulting in compromise of other staff users' admin sessions. This issue is fixed in version 6.64.0. |
| Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 6.22.1 until 6.64.0, Ghost restricted the content type used to serve uploaded files to prevent browsers from executing them. On sites using the default local storage adapter, this restriction was not applied, so files uploaded by any staff user were served with a content type derived from their file extension. This could be used to host scripts on the site's domain, possibly resulting in compromise of other staff users' admin sessions. This issue is fixed in version 6.64.0. |
| Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks. Prior to 3.7.13, selecting a note containing a jsoncanvas fence causes the whiteboard text and file-node components in packages/app-desktop/gui/NoteEditor/NoteBody/WhiteboardEditor/nodes/TextNode.tsx and packages/app-desktop/gui/NoteEditor/NoteBody/WhiteboardEditor/nodes/FileNode.tsx to render card content with the full Markdown renderer. The components insert the resulting HTML into the main application document through dangerouslySetInnerHTML. A malicious note can inject style elements and remote CSS imports that modify trusted application chrome, signal when the note is opened, and potentially disclose exposed attribute values. Content Security Policy blocks inline script execution, so the supported impact is CSS injection and UI redressing rather than code execution. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.13. |
| A DOM-based Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the Ansible Platform UI due to unvalidated input handling within the application's redirect route. Specifically, the application extracts a target destination from the next query parameter and directly assigns it to the browser's location.href without verifying its format or scheme. The platform includes built-in URL validation functions designed to block malicious URI schemes (such as javascript: and data:) as well as off-site or protocol-relative redirects, this specific route bypasses those controls. Consequently, an attacker can craft a malicious link that, when accessed by an authenticated user, causes arbitrary JavaScript to execute within the context of the user's session. |
| A missing input validation vulnerability in the Fileserver upload API allows an authenticated attacker with file upload privileges to execute stored cross-site scripting (XSS). Successful exploitation could enable the attacker to hijack another CloudVision user's web session, potentially granting full access to their account and administrative permissions. |
| Quasar Framework is a framework for building high-performance Vue.js user interfaces. Prior to @quasar/render-ssr-error 2.2.4 and @quasar/app-vite 3.3.0, renderSSRError() in utils/render-ssr-error/src/index.js used diagnostic data from utils/render-ssr-error/src/env.js to serialize process.env, request headers, and cookies into the HTTP page returned by serve.devError(), while the development server listened on all interfaces by default. Any network-adjacent client that reaches an SSR or SSG render failure through this development-only error path can obtain shell environment secrets. The renderer escaped only one exact lowercase script closing-tag spelling, so case variants and valid closing-tag delimiter variants in reflected diagnostic data could terminate the script element and inject markup; executing the injected code in a developer browser additionally requires the payload to accompany that developer's request. This issue is fixed in @quasar/render-ssr-error 2.2.4 and @quasar/app-vite 3.3.0. |
| The CakeResponse::download() method in lib/Cake/Network/CakeResponse.php constructs a Content-Disposition header by directly interpolating a caller-supplied filename into a quoted-string value without sanitization. Two distinct injection vectors exist in the unpatched code. First, if the filename contains C0 control characters (CR or LF), PHP refuses to emit the entire Content-Disposition header, silently dropping the attachment disposition. The response body is then served with its own Content-Type (for example text/html for an .html attachment) and renders inline in the browser on the application origin, creating a stored cross-site scripting condition. The commit message notes this is reachable even when the download_attachments_on_load setting is enabled, meaning a victim merely needs to view a page that triggers the download. Second, a double-quote character in the filename terminates the quoted-string value early, permitting injection of additional Content-Disposition parameters. The affected code path covers all callers of CakeResponse::download(), including attribute downloads, proposal downloads, and restSearch exports. An authenticated user who can create or upload an attachment with a crafted filename (for example through MISP attribute naming or proposal attachment naming) can store the malicious filename. When any other authenticated user views the affected page, the unsanitized filename is reflected into the HTTP response header, resulting in header manipulation and potential execution of arbitrary HTML or JavaScript in the context of the application origin. The security impact is equivalent to a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability, allowing session hijacking, data exfiltration, and unauthorized actions on behalf of the victim. |
| Bacularis 5.4.0 - 6.5.1 is vulnerable to Cross Site Scripting (XSS) in the Organization name field. |
