CVE-2026-87719 1 Gitlab 1 Gitlab 2026-09-28 9.9 Critical
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab EE affecting all versions from 18.3 before 18.11.12, 19.0 before 19.0.9, 19.1 before 19.1.8, 19.2 before 19.2.6, and 19.3 before 19.3.2 that under certain conditions could allow an authenticated user with Duo Chat access to obtain Advanced Search instance configurations and sensitive credentials using a specially crafted GraphQL subscription argument to bypass serialization and perform server object lookup.
CVE-2026-101894 2 Kevva, Xhmikosr 2 Decompress, Decompress 2026-09-28 9.1 Critical
The decompress package for Node.js extracts archives. Prior to 10.2.2 and 11.1.4, the default decompress(input, output) API relies on lexical containment checks that do not account for the kernel following a planted symlink chain. An attacker can supply a crafted archive containing chained symlink entries so that a later entry resolves outside the output directory. This allows files outside output to be read or written, and overwriting startup scripts or configuration can lead to remote code execution. The maintained @xhmikosr/decompress package is fixed in 10.2.2 and 11.1.4, but the separately affected unmaintained decompress package remains unpatched through 4.2.1. This vulnerability results from a bypass of the incomplete hardening for CVE-2026-53486. @xhmikosr/decompress is fixed in versions 10.2.2 and 11.1.4.
CVE-2025-71423 1 Edgelesssys 1 Contrast 2026-09-28 7.3 High
Edgelesssys Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes. In versions 1.9.0 before 1.12.2, the initializer logs the full NewMeshCert response — which contains the workload secret — to standard output at INFO level. As a result, workload secrets are exposed to any Kubernetes user with get or list permission on pods/logs. Because workload secrets are used for encrypted storage and Vault integration, those must also be considered compromised. This is a regression of GHSA-h5f8-crrq-4pw8.
CVE-2026-87799 1 Canonical 1 Lxd 2026-09-28 9.9 Critical
Improper link resolution in the migration receive path in Canonical LXD versions 4.0 and later (fixed in 4.0.14, 5.0.10, 5.21.8 and 6.10) on Linux allows an authenticated client that can create instances or custom storage volumes in a project, or a malicious migration source server, to write attacker-controlled files to arbitrary paths on the target host as root, leading to full host compromise. The attacker does this with a crafted rsync or btrfs send stream that plants a symlink in the transferred volume, such as rootfs or root.img, and then writes through it.
CVE-2026-87798 1 Canonical 1 Lxd 2026-09-28 5.8 Medium
Improper link resolution in the recursive file pull feature of the LXD CLI client in Canonical LXD versions 4.0.2 up to 6.9 (fixed in 4.0.14, 5.0.10 and 5.21.8) on Linux allows an attacker with root access inside a virtual machine to write attacker-controlled files or directory trees to arbitrary paths on the client host, with the operator's privileges. The attacker does this by using a modified lxd-agent that returns inconsistent SFTP directory listings and Lstat results.
CVE-2026-100715 1 Froxlor 1 Froxlor 2026-09-28 9.6 Critical
Froxlor through 2.3.10 is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion via symlink following in the FTP data deletion cron task. Cron task 8 (deleteFtpData), queued when an FTP account is deleted, calls FileDir::makeCorrectDir() without the $fixed_homedir argument, so the symlink component walk is skipped, and then executes 'rm -rf' as root on the resulting path with string-level guards only. Because makeCorrectDir() appends a trailing slash, GNU rm dereferences a symlink used either as an intermediate path component or as the final component. An authenticated customer who can write to the FTP home directory can plant a symlink between task insertion and cron execution, causing the root cron job to recursively delete arbitrary directory trees, resulting in cross-tenant data destruction and host denial of service. This issue is fixed in Froxlor 2.3.12.
CVE-2026-100692 2 Gohugo, Redhat 2 Hugo, Hummingbird 2026-09-28 7.5 High
Hugo is a static site generator. In versions after v0.123.0 and before v0.166.0, Hugo's symlink confinement checks stopped at the mount root itself, so a theme or module checked into themes/ (or a vendored module) could contain a symlink at a mount root (for example themes/mytheme/assets -> /some/dir/outside). Files behind such a symlink were readable during a site build through resources.Get, resources.Match and similar functions, and could be published to public/ via static mounts, bypassing the rule that theme and module mount sources must be local paths. Modules fetched via Go modules are not affected because Go module zips cannot contain symlinks, and this is not an escalation for the main project, which may already mount absolute paths by configuration. Fixed in v0.166.0, where symlinked mount roots and symlinked directories between the mount root and the module directory are treated as non-existent for all modules. As a workaround, inspect themes/ and vendored modules for symlinks at mount roots before building, or replace symlinks with explicit mounts.
CVE-2026-100690 2 Gohugo, Redhat 2 Hugo, Hummingbird 2026-09-28 7.5 High
Hugo versions from v0.161.0 through v0.165.0 run Node.js tools (css.PostCSS, css.TailwindCSS, js.Babel) under the Node.js permission model to restrict file system reads to the project directory and configured mounts. Because the Node.js permission model validates only the lexical path and follows symbolic links that point outside the allowed set, Hugo did not detect symlinks escaping the sandbox. An attacker who can contribute content to a Hugo project (for example via a pull request) can commit a symlink such as assets/css/x.css -> /etc/passwd together with a PostCSS plugin that reads it, allowing any file readable by the Hugo build process to be disclosed and potentially embedded in the published site. This affects builds using the default security configuration; projects that do not invoke Node.js tools are unaffected. Fixed in v0.166.0, which scans allowed paths and fails the build when a symbolic link resolves outside them.
CVE-2026-96279 2 Flatpak, Redhat 2 Flatpak, Enterprise Linux 2026-09-28 6.5 Medium
A malicious OCI registry can hardlink arbitrary host files into the extraction directory when a user installs or updates a Flatpak application from an OCI remote, allowing disclosure of arbitrary host file contents. For system-wide installs running as root, this includes sensitive files such as /etc/shadow.
CVE-2026-96282 2 Flatpak, Redhat 2 Flatpak, Enterprise Linux 2026-09-28 3.1 Low
A malicious Flatpak extension can probe the host filesystem to determine what files and directories exist at arbitrary paths, and host directory listings can be disclosed to sandboxed applications using the extension. Additionally, unvalidated extension metadata can cause extension content to be mounted at unintended locations inside the sandbox.
CVE-2026-82384 1 Apache 1 Roller 2026-09-28 9.8 Critical
Deserialization of Untrusted Data in Apache Roller 6.1.5 allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause deserialization of attacker-controlled bytes, because the XML-RPC endpoint accepts vendor extension types that are deserialized during request parsing, before authentication. The servlet is mapped unconditionally, so parsing occurs even when the global XML-RPC feature is set to disabled; no non-default configuration is required for this path. This can lead to remote code execution. Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache Roller 6.1.6 or later, which disables the extension types and rejects requests when the XML-RPC feature is disabled.
CVE-2026-63077 1 Jetbrains 1 Teamcity 2026-09-28 9.8 Critical
In JetBrains TeamCity before 2026.1.3, 2025.11.7 unauthenticated remote code execution was possible via the agent polling protocol
CVE-2026-81867 1 Google 1 Application Integration 2026-09-28 N/A
A Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in the JavaScript Task in Google Cloud Application Integration versions prior to 2026-06-28 on Google Cloud Platform allows an authenticated user with standard permissions to run arbitrary code on the shared production servers using a specially crafted script bypassing param guards. This vulnerability was patched on 28 June 2026, and no customer action is needed.
CVE-2026-100716 1 Froxlor 1 Froxlor 2026-09-28 9.9 Critical
Froxlor is a server administration panel. In versions 2.3.10 and earlier, the customer data-export (DataDump) cron fails to validate intermediate path components of the export destination: Froxlor\FileDir::makeCorrectDir() contains an off-by-one in its path-component walk that skips the first segment below the customer home directory, and the guard in ExportCron.php checks only the final component with is_link(). An authenticated customer whose account has the export feature enabled can schedule an export into a genuine subdirectory of their own webspace, then replace an intermediate path component with a symlink before the root-owned cron runs. The cron's `chown -R` then recursively changes ownership of the linked directory tree — for example /etc — to the customer's UID, yielding host root and cross-tenant compromise. Exploitation is deterministic and requires no race. This is an incomplete fix of GHSA-75h4-... The issue is fixed in Froxlor 2.3.12.
CVE-2026-91766 1 Php Group 1 Php 2026-09-28 5.9 Medium
When the http:// stream wrapper follows a redirect it forwards the user-supplied Authorization, Cookie and Proxy-Authorization headers unchanged, even when the redirect target is a different host, a different port, or a downgrade from HTTPS to HTTP. A server that can steer a redirect therefore receives credentials that were only meant for the original origin. This is the same class of issue that libcurl fixed in 7.58.0 ( CVE-2018-1000007 https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-g7x2-hrfp-pv5f ).
CVE-2026-101089 1 Nezhahq 1 Nezha 2026-09-28 3.1 Low
Nezha before 2.2.7 contains an information disclosure vulnerability in the GET /api/v1/profile endpoint that returns the bcrypt-hashed password field of authenticated users. Attackers can extract password hashes and perform offline cracking attacks without rate limiting or audit trail constraints.
CVE-2026-100845 1 Project-monai 1 Monai 2026-09-28 7.8 High
MONAI before 1.6.0 contains an unsafe deserialization vulnerability in the NumpyReader class that unconditionally uses numpy.load with allow_pickle=True when loading .npy and .npz files. Attackers can craft malicious .npy files with pickle payloads that execute arbitrary code when loaded through MONAI's standard data pipeline.
CVE-2026-100841 1 Project-monai 1 Monai 2026-09-28 7.8 High
In MONAI 1.6.0, PersistentDataset (monai/data/dataset.py) explicitly rejects the combination track_meta=True with weights_only=True, forcing users who cache MetaTensors (the default tensor type in MONAI >= 1.0) to run torch.load(hashfile, weights_only=False). Related cache helpers in monai/data/utils.py also call pickle.loads on cached content and derive cache keys with hashlib.md5. As a result, a local user with write access to a shared or world-writable cache_dir (e.g. /tmp/monai_cache, HPC scratch, ~/.cache/monai) can place a malicious pickle file that is deserialized the next time another user's MONAI pipeline reads the cache, resulting in arbitrary code execution in that user's context. All released versions of the monai pip package are affected; no patched version is available as of the advisory.
CVE-2026-84862 1 Ibm 1 Guardium Data Protection 2026-09-28 7.2 High
IBM Guardium Data Protection 12.2 is vulnerable to insecure deserialization in the Quartz JDBC job store. An authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the affected system.
CVE-2026-100419 1 Gitoxidelabs 1 Gitoxide 2026-09-28 7 High
gitoxide gix-fs before 0.23.0 contains a path validation bypass vulnerability in the worktree checkout mechanism that allows attackers to escape the worktree directory via symlink manipulation. During forced checkout with overwrite_existing enabled, attackers can craft malicious repository trees where symlink entries replace validated directories, causing subsequent files to be written outside the worktree through the symlink for code execution or file manipulation.
