| Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CWE-502) in the Tribes-based clustering component
in Apache Software Foundation Apache Axis2/Java through 2.0.0 on Apache Tomcat
(only when Tribes clustering is enabled, which is off by default) allows an
unauthenticated remote attacker with network access to the clustering port to
execute arbitrary code via a crafted serialized Java object delivered to the cluster
channel and deserialized in
org.apache.axis2.clustering.tribes.Axis2ChannelListener#messageReceived. Users are
recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.1, which fixes this issue by removing the
clustering feature entirely. |
| Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection') vulnerability in Apache Syncope.
An administrator with adequate entitlements can achieve execution of arbitrary SQL via stacked queries, leveraging unsanitized sort parameters.

| Improper Privilege Management vulnerability in Apache Syncope.
When:
* the all-Java user workflow adapter is configured, or
* the Flowable user workflow adapter is configured, bearing a BPMN definition not requiring admin approval for user self registration of self update requests
the following scenario could happen.
A REST API call can allow the user to grant themselves one or more of defined Roles, thus gaining their Entitlements and becoming in fact an administrator; the actual Entitlements gained depend on the Roles that are effectively defined on the specific Syncope deployment.
This issue affects Apache Syncope: from 3.0.0-M0 through 3.0.16, from 4.0.0-M0 Through 4.0.6, from 4.1.0-M0 through 4.1.1.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.0.7 / 4.1.2, which fix this issue. |
| Improper certificate validation in Apache MINA SSHD (server-side). Apache MINA SSHD is a Java library for client-side and server-side SSH.
Server-side OpenSSH user certificate validation during user authentication in an Apache MINA SSHD server did not check for the unsupported force-command or verify-required options that could be embedded in the certificate, nor did it validate these options. As a result it was possible that a user could authenticate with such a certificate that included a force-command option but still was able to execute other commands. What other command exactly would be available to the user depends on the implementation of the server.
This issue is fixed in Apache MINA SSHD 2.19.0 and 3.0.0-M5. Applications are advised to upgrade to these versions.
The fix rejects OpenSSH user certificates that include these options, since Apache MINA SSHD implements neither force-command nor sk-*[email protected] user certificates (which are the only ones for which verify-required would make sense). |
| Improper Input Validation vulnerability in Apache ActiveMQ AMQP, Apache ActiveMQ, Apache ActiveMQ All.
A remote unauthenticated peer that can reach an exposed AMQP NIO connector can trigger denial-of-service behavior by sending a frame size value. This cause the NIO threads to die and if done rapidly enough can lead to exhaustion of the NIO thread pool denying service to other connections.
This issue affects Apache ActiveMQ AMQP: before 5.19.9, from 6.0.0 before 6.2.8; Apache ActiveMQ: before 5.19.9, from 6.0.0 before 6.2.8; Apache ActiveMQ All: before 5.19.9, from 6.0.0 before 6.2.8.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.19.9, 6.2.8, or 6.3.0 which fixes the issue. |

| Heap type confusion and out-of-bounds read/write in the Apache Fory C++ implementation. When deserializing data in compatible mode, the field-skip paths do not correctly validate the declared field types against the actual data, so input with an inconsistent schema can cause type confusion and out-of-bounds memory access. Only the C++ implementation is affected; other language implementations of Apache Fory are not.
This issue affects Apache Fory C++: from 0.14.0 before 1.4.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.4.0, which fixes the issue. |

Improper validation when parsing BASS service "Add Source" and "Modify Source" operation PDU could results in stack buffer overflow or arbitrary out-of-bound read.

| Buffer Copy without Checking Size of Input ('Classic Buffer Overflow') vulnerability in Apache NimBLE.
The HCI socket transport did not check whether a received HCI event would fit the configured event pool before copying it, allowing a buffer overflow. Severity is low: exploitation requires either a misconfigured pool size or a malicious/compromised controller on the other end of the HCI socket link, not over-the-air Bluetooth access.
