CVSS v3.1 |
NetOp (now part of Impero Software) Remote Control Client v9.5 is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow when processing .dws configuration files. If a .dws file contains a string longer than 520 bytes, the application fails to perform proper bounds checking, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary code when the file is opened.
Cytel Studio version 9.0 and earlier is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow triggered by parsing a malformed .CY3 file. The vulnerability occurs when the application copies user-controlled strings into a fixed-size stack buffer (256 bytes) without proper bounds checking. Exploitation allows arbitrary code execution when the crafted file is opened.
Real Networks Netzip Classic version 7.5.1.86 is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow when parsing a specially crafted ZIP archive. The vulnerability is triggered when the application attempts to process a file name within the archive that exceeds the expected buffer size. Exploitation allows arbitrary code execution under the context of the victim user when the ZIP file is opened.
Magix Musik Maker 16 is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow due to improper handling of .mmm arrangement files. The vulnerability arises from an unsafe strcpy() operation that fails to validate input length, allowing attackers to overwrite the Structured Exception Handler (SEH). By crafting a malicious .mmm file, an attacker can trigger the overflow when the file is opened, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution. This vulnerability was remediated in version 17.
Buffer Overflow vulnerability in IrfanView 32bit v.4.66 allows a local attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted file. Affected component is IrfanView 32bit 4.66 with plugin formats.dll.
Lattice Semiconductor ispVM System v18.0.2 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in its handling of .xcf project files. When parsing the version attribute of the ispXCF XML tag, the application fails to properly validate input length, allowing a specially crafted file to overwrite memory on the stack. This can result in arbitrary code execution under the context of the user who opens the file. The vulnerability is triggered locally by opening a malicious .xcf file and does not require elevated privileges.
RabidHamster R4 v1.25 contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability due to unsafe use of sprintf() when logging malformed HTTP requests. A remote attacker can exploit this flaw by sending a specially crafted URI, resulting in arbitrary code execution under the context of the web server process.
GTA San Andreas Multiplayer (SA-MP) server version 0.3.1.1 is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow triggered by parsing a malformed server.cfg configuration file. The vulnerability allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code when the server binary (samp-server.exe) processes a crafted echo directive containing excessive input. The original 'sa-mp.com' site is defunct, but the community maintains mirrors and forks that may be vulnerable.
Trusted Firmware-A (TF-A) before 2.10 has a potential read out-of-bounds in the SDEI service. The input parameter passed in register x1 is not validated well enough in the function sdei_interrupt_bind. The parameter is passed to a call to plat_ic_get_interrupt_type. It can be any arbitrary value passing checks in the function plat_ic_is_sgi. A compromised Normal World (Linux kernel) can enable a root-privileged attacker to issue arbitrary SMC calls. Using this primitive, he can control the content of registers x0 through x6, which are used to send parameters to TF-A. Out-of-bounds addresses can be read in the context of TF-A (EL3). Because the read value is never returned to non-secure memory or in registers, no leak is possible. An attacker can still crash TF-A, however.
Buffer overflow vulnerability exists in FutureNet AS series (Industrial Routers) and FA series (Protocol Conversion Machine) provided by Century Systems Co., Ltd. If this vulnerability is exploited, a remote unauthenticated attacker may reboot the device by sending a specially crafted request.
| A vulnerability in the web UI of Cisco IOS Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker with low privileges to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to improper input validation. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted URL in an HTTP request. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the affected device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition. |
ChatLuck contains an insufficient granularity of access control vulnerability in Invitation of Guest Users. If exploited, an uninvited guest user may register itself as a guest user.
Amazon AWS Client VPN before 3.9.1 on macOS has a buffer overflow that could potentially allow a local actor to execute arbitrary commands with elevated permissions, a different vulnerability than CVE-2024-30164.
NVIDIA nvJPEG library contains a vulnerability where an attacker can cause an out-of-bounds read by means of a specially crafted JPEG file. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to information disclosure or denial of service.
NVIDIA nvJPEG contains a vulnerability in jpeg encoding where a user may cause an out-of-bounds read by providing a maliciously crafted input image with dimensions that cause integer overflows in array index calculations. A successful exploit of this vulnerability may lead to denial of service.
The Secure Flag passed to Versal™ Adaptive SoC’s Trusted Firmware for Cortex®-A processors (TF-A) for Arm’s Power State Coordination Interface (PSCI) commands were incorrectly set to secure instead of using the processor’s actual security state. This would allow the PSCI requests to appear they were from processors in the secure state instead of the non-secure state.
NVIDIA Display Driver for Windows and Linux contains a vulnerability in a video decoder, where an attacker might cause an out-of-bounds read. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to information disclosure or denial of service.
NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Windows contains a vulnerability in the user mode layer, where an unprivileged regular user can cause an out-of-bounds read. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, denial of service, escalation of privileges, information disclosure, and data tampering.
A vulnerability in the “Network Interfaces” functionality of the web application of ctrlX OS allows a remote authenticated (low-privileged) attacker to manipulate the wireless network configuration file via a crafted HTTP request.
iNetTools for iOS 8.20 contains a denial of service vulnerability in the Whois feature that allows attackers to crash the application by manipulating input. Attackers can paste a specially crafted 98-character buffer into the Domain Name field to trigger an application crash.
