| CVE-2026-16517 | 2 Libarchive, Redhat | 6 Libarchive, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 3 more | 2026-11-02 | 2.9 Low |
| A signed integer overflow vulnerability was found in libarchive's ZIP writer. In the archive_write_zip_header function in archive_write_set_format_zip.c, when ZIP encryption is enabled and the entry file size is close to INT64_MAX, the addition of the encryption overhead to the entry size overflows int64_t, resulting in undefined behavior. This could lead to incorrect Zip64 extension decisions or potential memory corruption. | ||||
| CVE-2026-15028 | 1 Redhat | 4 Cost Management On Premise, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird and 1 more | 2026-11-02 | 3.9 Low |
| A flaw was found in libarchive. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to trigger a heap overflow by providing a specially crafted tar archive. The issue occurs during the parsing of a PAX extended header containing a malformed SUN.holesdata sparse-file attribute. Successful exploitation could lead to a denial of service, making the system unavailable, or potentially allow for arbitrary code execution, giving the attacker control over the affected system. | ||||
| CVE-2021-31566 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libarchive and 2 more | 14 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libarchive and 11 more | 2026-11-02 | 7.8 High |
| An improper link resolution flaw can occur while extracting an archive leading to changing modes, times, access control lists, and flags of a file outside of the archive. An attacker may provide a malicious archive to a victim user, who would trigger this flaw when trying to extract the archive. A local attacker may use this flaw to gain more privileges in a system. | ||||
| CVE-2020-8231 | 6 Debian, Haxx, Oracle and 3 more | 6 Debian Linux, Libcurl, Communications Cloud Native Core Policy and 3 more | 2026-11-02 | 7.5 High |
| Due to use of a dangling pointer, libcurl 7.29.0 through 7.71.1 can use the wrong connection when sending data. | ||||
| CVE-2020-11022 | 9 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 6 more | 88 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 85 more | 2026-11-02 | 6.9 Medium |
| In jQuery starting with 1.12.0 and before 3.5.0, passing HTML from untrusted sources - even after sanitizing it - to one of jQuery's DOM manipulation methods (i.e. .html(), .append(), and others) may execute untrusted code. This problem is patched in jQuery 3.5.0. | ||||
| CVE-2019-20454 | 4 Fedoraproject, Pcre, Redhat and 1 more | 4 Fedora, Pcre2, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2026-11-02 | 7.5 High |
| An out-of-bounds read was discovered in PCRE before 10.34 when the pattern \X is JIT compiled and used to match specially crafted subjects in non-UTF mode. Applications that use PCRE to parse untrusted input may be vulnerable to this flaw, which would allow an attacker to crash the application. The flaw occurs in do_extuni_no_utf in pcre2_jit_compile.c. | ||||
| CVE-2019-1543 | 2 Openssl, Redhat | 2 Openssl, Enterprise Linux | 2026-11-02 | N/A |
| ChaCha20-Poly1305 is an AEAD cipher, and requires a unique nonce input for every encryption operation. RFC 7539 specifies that the nonce value (IV) should be 96 bits (12 bytes). OpenSSL allows a variable nonce length and front pads the nonce with 0 bytes if it is less than 12 bytes. However it also incorrectly allows a nonce to be set of up to 16 bytes. In this case only the last 12 bytes are significant and any additional leading bytes are ignored. It is a requirement of using this cipher that nonce values are unique. Messages encrypted using a reused nonce value are susceptible to serious confidentiality and integrity attacks. If an application changes the default nonce length to be longer than 12 bytes and then makes a change to the leading bytes of the nonce expecting the new value to be a new unique nonce then such an application could inadvertently encrypt messages with a reused nonce. Additionally the ignored bytes in a long nonce are not covered by the integrity guarantee of this cipher. Any application that relies on the integrity of these ignored leading bytes of a long nonce may be further affected. Any OpenSSL internal use of this cipher, including in SSL/TLS, is safe because no such use sets such a long nonce value. However user applications that use this cipher directly and set a non-default nonce length to be longer than 12 bytes may be vulnerable. OpenSSL versions 1.1.1 and 1.1.0 are affected by this issue. Due to the limited scope of affected deployments this has been assessed as low severity and therefore we are not creating new releases at this time. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1c (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1b). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.0k (Affected 1.1.0-1.1.0j). | ||||
| CVE-2017-5647 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 3 Tomcat, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Web Server | 2026-11-02 | N/A |
| A bug in the handling of the pipelined requests in Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0.M18, 8.5.0 to 8.5.12, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.42, 7.0.0 to 7.0.76, and 6.0.0 to 6.0.52, when send file was used, results in the pipelined request being lost when send file processing of the previous request completed. This could result in responses appearing to be sent for the wrong request. For example, a user agent that sent requests A, B and C could see the correct response for request A, the response for request C for request B and no response for request C. | ||||
| CVE-2026-81665 | 2 Corosync, Redhat | 10 Corosync, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 7 more | 2026-11-02 | 7.5 High |
| A heap-based buffer overflow was found in Corosync's Totem Process Group (totempg) message reassembly. When processing fragmented multicast messages, the buffer used to reassemble fragments lacks a runtime bounds check in release builds. A network-adjacent attacker able to send crafted multicast protocol messages to the cluster could cause a heap buffer overflow with attacker-controlled data. This can crash the Corosync daemon, causing a denial of service to the entire cluster, and may potentially allow further exploitation given sufficient heap-corruption control. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109619 | 4 Paloaltonetworks, Php, Redhat and 1 more | 24 Pan-os, Panorama M-200, Panorama M-300 and 21 more | 2026-11-02 | 8.1 High |
| PHP has various global state that temporarily points into request memory. In some scenarios, global state may not be correctly reset, or may be repopulated after being reset. The global state may then refer to request memory even after it has been freed. Subsequent requests may read or branch on this stale state before it is fully initialized. Multiple strategies can trigger this condition and produce remote code execution (RCE). | ||||
| CVE-2026-109618 | 4 Paloaltonetworks, Php, Redhat and 1 more | 23 Pan-os, Panorama M-200, Panorama M-300 and 20 more | 2026-11-02 | 9.8 Critical |
| PHP uses longjmp() for out-of-memory (OOM) errors to exit the current context and abort handling of the request. Some contexts may not properly account for this scenario and leave request memory in an uninitialized state before performing an allocation. The subsequent request cleanup procedure may read or branch on this memory. Multiple OOM strategies can consistently trigger this condition and lead to remote code execution (RCE). | ||||
| CVE-2026-115456 | 3 Gcc, Red Hat, Redhat | 7 Gcc, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux and 4 more | 2026-11-02 | 3.7 Low |
| A flaw was found in gcc. An attacker could cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by passing a string that is not null-terminated to the std::from_chars() function in the libstdc++ library. This issue triggers an out-of-bounds read beyond the allocated buffer, potentially leading to invalid data parsing or an application crash. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96280 | 2 Flatpak, Redhat | 5 Flatpak, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 2 more | 2026-11-02 | 7.5 High |
| The OCI delta stream parser read sizes as guint64 but passed them to GLib I/O and allocation functions expecting gsize (32 bits on 32-bit systems), causing undersized allocations while subsequent operations use the original 64-bit size, leading to heap buffer overflows. An attacker controlling an OCI registry can craft a delta stream that triggers this during flatpak install/update, potentially achieving code execution on 32-bit systems. | ||||
| CVE-2026-72693 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 2 more | 2026-11-02 | 7.8 High |
| `openvt -u` is intended to identify the owner of the current VT and then execute `login` as that user from a privileged context. In the documented `kbrequest`/init usage, the ownership test in `authenticate_user()` relies on `stat("/proc/<pid>/fd/0")`. `stat()` on `/proc/<pid>/fd/0` follows the symlink to the underlying TTY device node. As a result, `buf.st_uid` reflects the owner of the TTY node rather than the owner of the process holding the file descriptor. If the TTY owner returns to `root` or the getty owner after logout while an unprivileged process still has `fd 0` attached to that TTY, the check can incorrectly treat that process as belonging to the privileged console owner. Once that check succeeds, the `-u` path executes a passwordless login as the selected user. In the documented `kbrequest`/init deployment using `openvt -us`, this can result in passwordless `login -f root` on the spawned VT. This report establishes that privilege escalation path for that documented deployment; it does not claim equivalent reachability for deployments that do not use `openvt -u` from a privileged `kbrequest`/init path. | ||||
| CVE-2026-58380 | 3 Gimp, Gnome, Redhat | 5 Gimp, Gimp, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2026-11-02 | 7.3 High |
| A flaw was found in GIMP's PNM file format parser. When parsing a specially crafted PNM file, the pnmscanner_gettoken() function writes a null terminator one byte past the end of a stack-allocated buffer due to an off-by-one error in the loop boundary check. This could lead to memory corruption, potentially resulting in denial of service or arbitrary code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42169 | 2 Gimp, Redhat | 5 Gimp, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 2 more | 2026-11-02 | 7.3 High |
| A heap-buffer-overflow vulnerability exists in the APNG (Animated PNG) file loader of GIMP. This flaw occurs when the `fcTL` width exceeds the `IHDR` width, leading to pixel data being written past the end of a heap allocation. Additionally, a heap-based buffer overflow exists in the DDS plug-in due to a BPP mismatch in the `load_layer()` function. Both vulnerabilities can be triggered by opening a specially crafted image file, potentially leading to code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-86469 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 2 more | 2026-11-02 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GLib2. When g_file_replace() is used with G_FILE_CREATE_REPLACE_DESTINATION and creating the .goutputstream-XXXXXX temporary file fails, the library unlinks the destination and recreates it without exclusive creation or symlink protection. A local attacker who can write to the destination directory can win that race and redirect the write to another file. | ||||
