CVSS v3.1 |
| Insufficient epoch key slot processing in OpenVPN 2.7_alpha1 through 2.7_rc5 allows remote authenticated users to trigger an assert resulting in a denial of service |
| A reachable assertion in FFmpeg git-master commit N-113007-g8d24a28d06 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via opening a crafted AAC file. |
| Open62541 v1.4.6 is has an assertion failure in fuzz_binary_decode, which leads to a crash. |
| rPGP is a pure Rust implementation of OpenPGP. Prior to 0.14.1, rPGP allows an attacker to trigger rpgp crashes by providing crafted data. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.14.1. |
| quic-go is an implementation of the QUIC protocol in Go. In versions prior to 0.49.0, 0.54.1, and 0.55.0, a misbehaving or malicious server can cause a denial-of-service (DoS) attack on the quic-go client by triggering an assertion failure, leading to a process crash. This requires no authentication and can be exploited during the handshake phase. This was observed in the wild with certain server implementations. quic-go needs to be able to handle misbehaving server implementations, including those that prematurely send a HANDSHAKE_DONE frame. Versions 0.49.0, 0.54.1, and 0.55.0 discard Initial keys when receiving a HANDSHAKE_DONE frame, thereby correctly handling premature HANDSHAKE_DONE frames. |
| phonenumber is a library for parsing, formatting and validating international phone numbers. Since 0.3.4, the phonenumber parsing code may panic due to a panic-guarded out-of-bounds access on the phonenumber string. In a typical deployment of rust-phonenumber, this may get triggered by feeding a maliciously crafted phonenumber, e.g. over the network, specifically strings of the form `+dwPAA;phone-context=AA`, where the "number" part potentially parses as a number larger than 2^56. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.3.6. |
| Cairo through 1.18.4, as used in Poppler through 25.08.0, has an "unscaled->face == NULL" assertion failure for _cairo_ft_unscaled_font_fini in cairo-ft-font.c. |
| An issue was discovered in O-RAN Near Realtime RIC I-Release. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker can disrupt the initial connection between a gNB and the Near RT-RIC by inundating the system with a high volume of subscription requests via an xApp. |
| An issue was discovered in O-RAN Near Realtime RIC H-Release. To trigger the crashing of the e2mgr, an adversary must flood the system with a significant quantity of E2 Subscription Requests originating from an xApp. |
| In a Bluetooth device, using RS9116-WiseConnect SDK experiences a Denial of Service, if it receives malformed L2CAP packets, only hard reset will bring the device to normal operation |
| An issue was discovered in FlexRIC 2.0.0. It crashes during a Subscription Request denial-of-service (DoS) attack, triggered by an assertion error. An attacker must send a high number of E42 Subscription Requests to the Near-RT RIC component. |
| When an incoming DNS protocol message includes a Transaction Signature (TSIG), BIND always checks it. If the TSIG contains an invalid value in the algorithm field, BIND immediately aborts with an assertion failure.
This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.20.0 through 9.20.8 and 9.21.0 through 9.21.7. |
| An assert may be triggered, causing a temporary denial of service when a peer device sends a specially crafted malformed L2CAP packet. If a watchdog timer is not enabled, a hard reset is required to recover the device. |
| Due to an unchecked buffer length, a specially crafted L2CAP packet can cause a buffer overflow. This buffer overflow triggers an assert, which results in a temporary denial of service.
If a watchdog timer is not enabled, a hard reset is required to recover the device. |
| In SiWx91x devices, the SHA2/224 algorithm returns a hash of 256 bits instead of 224 bits. This incorrect hash length triggers a software assertion, which subsequently causes a Denial of Service (DoS).
If a watchdog is implemented, device will restart after watch dog expires. If watchdog is not implemented, device can be recovered only after a hard reset |
| A vulnerability was determined in cmake 4.1.20250725-gb5cce23. This affects the function cmForEachFunctionBlocker::ReplayItems of the file cmForEachCommand.cxx. This manipulation causes reachable assertion. The attack needs to be launched locally. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. Patch name: 37e27f71bc356d880c908040cd0cb68fa2c371b8. It is suggested to install a patch to address this issue. |
| Avahi is a system which facilitates service discovery on a local network via the mDNS/DNS-SD protocol suite. Prior to version 0.9-rc4, any unprivileged local user can crash avahi-daemon by sending a single D-Bus method call with conflicting publish flags. This issue has been patched in version 0.9-rc4. |
| Any guest issuing a Xenstore command accessing a node using the
(illegal) node path "/local/domain/", will crash xenstored due to a
clobbered error indicator in xenstored when verifying the node path.
Note that the crash is forced via a failing assert() statement in
xenstored. In case xenstored is being built with NDEBUG #defined,
an unprivileged guest trying to access the node path "/local/domain/"
will result in it no longer being serviced by xenstored, other guests
(including dom0) will still be serviced, but xenstored will use up
all cpu time it can get. |
| CocoaMQTT is a MQTT 5.0 client library for iOS and macOS written in Swift. Prior to version 2.2.2, a vulnerability exists in the packet parsing logic of CocoaMQTT that allows an attacker (or a compromised/malicious MQTT broker) to remotely crash the host iOS/macOS/tvOS application. If an attacker publishes the 4-byte malformed payload to a shared topic with the RETAIN flag set to true, the MQTT broker will persist the payload. Any time a vulnerable client connects and subscribes to that topic, the broker will automatically push the malformed packet. The app will instantly crash in the background before the user can even interact with it. This effectively "bricks" the mobile application (a persistent DoS) until the retained message is manually wiped from the broker database. This issue has been patched in version 2.2.2. |
| A user with access to the cluster with a limited set of privilege actions can trigger a crash of a mongod process during the limited and unpredictable window when the cluster is being promoted from a replica set to a sharded cluster. This may cause a denial of service by taking down the primary of the replica set.
This issue affects MongoDB Server v8.2 versions prior to 8.2.2, MongoDB Server v8.0 versions between 8.0.18, MongoDB Server v7.0 versions between 7.0.31. |
