CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
LoongArch: BPF: Fix off-by-one error in build_prologue()
Vincent reported that running BPF progs with tailcalls on LoongArch
causes kernel hard lockup. Debugging the issues shows that the JITed
image missing a jirl instruction at the end of the epilogue.
There are two passes in JIT compiling, the first pass set the flags and
the second pass generates JIT code based on those flags. With BPF progs
mixing bpf2bpf and tailcalls, build_prologue() generates N insns in the
first pass and then generates N+1 insns in the second pass. This makes
epilogue_offset off by one and we will jump to some unexpected insn and
cause lockup. Fix this by inserting a nop insn. |

The following loop is located right above 'if' statement.
for (i = count-1; i >= 0; i--) {
/* is more than half of this entry in 2nd half of the block? */
if (size + map[i].size/2 > blocksize/2)
break;
size += map[i].size;
move++;
}
'i' in this case could go down to -1, in which case sum of active entries
wouldn't exceed half the block size, but previous behaviour would also do
split in half if sum would exceed at the very last block, which in case of
having too many long name files in a single block could lead to
out-of-bounds access and following use-after-free.
Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with Syzkaller. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fs/ntfs3: Fix a couple integer overflows on 32bit systems
On 32bit systems the "off + sizeof(struct NTFS_DE)" addition can
have an integer wrapping issue. Fix it by using size_add(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fs/ntfs3: Prevent integer overflow in hdr_first_de()
The "de_off" and "used" variables come from the disk so they both need to
check. The problem is that on 32bit systems if they're both greater than
UINT_MAX - 16 then the check does work as intended because of an integer
overflow. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
udp: Fix multiple wraparounds of sk->sk_rmem_alloc.
__udp_enqueue_schedule_skb() has the following condition:
if (atomic_read(&sk->sk_rmem_alloc) > sk->sk_rcvbuf)
goto drop;
sk->sk_rcvbuf is initialised by net.core.rmem_default and later can
be configured by SO_RCVBUF, which is limited by net.core.rmem_max,
or SO_RCVBUFFORCE.
If we set INT_MAX to sk->sk_rcvbuf, the condition is always false
as sk->sk_rmem_alloc is also signed int.
Then, the size of the incoming skb is added to sk->sk_rmem_alloc
unconditionally.
This results in integer overflow (possibly multiple times) on
sk->sk_rmem_alloc and allows a single socket to have skb up to
net.core.udp_mem[1].
For example, if we set a large value to udp_mem[1] and INT_MAX to
sk->sk_rcvbuf and flood packets to the socket, we can see multiple
overflows:
# cat /proc/net/sockstat | grep UDP:
UDP: inuse 3 mem 7956736 <-- (7956736 << 12) bytes > INT_MAX * 15
^- PAGE_SHIFT
# ss -uam
State Recv-Q ...
UNCONN -1757018048 ... <-- flipping the sign repeatedly
skmem:(r2537949248,rb2147483646,t0,tb212992,f1984,w0,o0,bl0,d0)
Previously, we had a boundary check for INT_MAX, which was removed by
commit 6a1f12dd85a8 ("udp: relax atomic operation on sk->sk_rmem_alloc").
A complete fix would be to revert it and cap the right operand by
INT_MAX:
rmem = atomic_add_return(size, &sk->sk_rmem_alloc);
if (rmem > min(size + (unsigned int)sk->sk_rcvbuf, INT_MAX))
goto uncharge_drop;
but we do not want to add the expensive atomic_add_return() back just
for the corner case.
Casting rmem to unsigned int prevents multiple wraparounds, but we still
allow a single wraparound.
# cat /proc/net/sockstat | grep UDP:
UDP: inuse 3 mem 524288 <-- (INT_MAX + 1) >> 12
# ss -uam
State Recv-Q ...
UNCONN -2147482816 ... <-- INT_MAX + 831 bytes
skmem:(r2147484480,rb2147483646,t0,tb212992,f3264,w0,o0,bl0,d14468947)
So, let's define rmem and rcvbuf as unsigned int and check skb->truesize
only when rcvbuf is large enough to lower the overflow possibility.
Note that we still have a small chance to see overflow if multiple skbs
to the same socket are processed on different core at the same time and
each size does not exceed the limit but the total size does.
Note also that we must ignore skb->truesize for a small buffer as
explained in commit 363dc73acacb ("udp: be less conservative with
sock rmem accounting"). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: fix geneve_opt length integer overflow
struct geneve_opt uses 5 bit length for each single option, which
means every vary size option should be smaller than 128 bytes.
However, all current related Netlink policies cannot promise this
length condition and the attacker can exploit a exact 128-byte size
option to *fake* a zero length option and confuse the parsing logic,
further achieve heap out-of-bounds read.
One example crash log is like below:

Fix these issues by enforing correct length condition in related
policies. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: fix overflow in dacloffset bounds check
The dacloffset field was originally typed as int and used in an
unchecked addition, which could overflow and bypass the existing
bounds check in both smb_check_perm_dacl() and smb_inherit_dacl().
This could result in out-of-bounds memory access and a kernel crash
when dereferencing the DACL pointer.
This patch converts dacloffset to unsigned int and uses
check_add_overflow() to validate access to the DACL. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
accel/qaic: Fix integer overflow in qaic_validate_req()
These are u64 variables that come from the user via
qaic_attach_slice_bo_ioctl(). Use check_add_overflow() to ensure that
the math doesn't have an integer wrapping bug. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: fix integer overflows on 32 bit systems
On 32bit systems the addition operations in ipc_msg_alloc() can
potentially overflow leading to memory corruption.
Add bounds checking using KSMBD_IPC_MAX_PAYLOAD to avoid overflow. |
| FFmpeg through 8.1.2, fixed in commit aafb5c6, contains a signed integer overflow vulnerability in the MACE6 audio decoder that allows attackers to corrupt heap memory by supplying a crafted CAF file with a malicious bytes_per_packet value. Attackers can craft a CAF file with oversized bytes_per_packet and frames_per_packet values in the desc chunk to trigger an integer overflow in mace_decode_frame() during output sample count computation, resulting in an undersized buffer allocation and heap out-of-bounds write that could enable code execution. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: ecc - Fix carry overflow in vli multiplication
The carry flag calculation fails when r01.m_high is saturated
(0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF) and addition of lower bits overflows.
The condition (r01.m_high < product.m_high) doesn't handle the case
where r01.m_high == product.m_high and an additional carry exists
from lower-bit overflow.
When commit 3c4b23901a0c ("crypto: ecdh - Add ECDH software support")
introduced crypto/ecc.c, it split the muladd() function in the
micro-ecc library into separate mul_64_64() and add_128_128() helpers.
It seems the check got lost in translation.
Add proper handling for this boundary by accounting for the carry
from the lower addition. |
| Integer wraparound in IVFFlat index build in pgvector before 0.8.6 allows a database user to write data out-of-bounds, which could lead to arbitrary code execution. Only 32-bit systems are affected. |
| Integer underflow (wrap or wraparound) in Windows DHCP Client allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. |
| Integer underflow (wrap or wraparound) in Windows NT OS Kernel allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| A flaw was found in HPLIP (HP Linux Imaging and Printing Software). This vulnerability, an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-8631, may allow a remote attacker to escalate privileges or achieve arbitrary code execution. This can occur through an integer overflow in the hpcups processing path when handling specially crafted print data. |
| A vulnerability was identified in radareorg radare2 up to 6.1.6. This vulnerability affects the function cmd_anal_opcode of the file libr/core/cmd_anal.inc.c of the component hexpairs Parser. Such manipulation leads to integer overflow. The attack needs to be performed locally. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The name of the patch is 84e773986e7e5bb30453a9384f498ec0ccc9d0a9. A patch should be applied to remediate this issue. |
| A vulnerability in the DMG file format parser of ClamAV could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a DoS condition, or possibly other expanded impacts, resulting from memory corruption on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to improper boundary checks for content in DMG files during scanning, which may result in an integer overflow on 32-bit platforms only. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted file that contains DMG content to be scanned by ClamAV on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the ClamAV scanning process to terminate, resulting in a DoS condition on the affected software. |
| Apache Traffic Server mishandles integers while decoding HPACK/XPACK headers, corrupting memory.
This issue affects Apache Traffic Server: from 8.0.0 through 8.1.9, from 9.0.0 through 9.2.14, from 10.0.0 through 10.1.3.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.2.15 or 10.1.4, which fix the issue. |
| [This CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the

The directory and Rock Ridge / SUSP walk in libfsimage's iso9660 driver
derives several lengths directly from attacker-controlled on-disk fields
without validating them:
* The directory loop itself assumes a good record length. This is
CVE-2026-42494.
* The calculation of the System Use area may underflow. This is
CVE-2026-42495.
* The Rock Ridge extension loop assumes a good (inner) record length.
This is CVE-2026-62423.
* The Rock Ridge NM record processing assumes a good entry length.
This is CVE-2026-62424.
* The Rock Ridge CE record processing assumes a good size and offset.
This is CVE-2026-62425. |
| A flaw was found in the file-sgi plugin in GIMP. When processing an RLE-compressed SGI image, the plugin allocates memory for a row table. The image header dimensions (ysize and zsize) are read as 16-bit unsigned integers. If a crafted file sets both dimensions to their maximum value (65535), the multiplication ysize * zsize overflows the standard 32-bit int boundary before being passed to calloc. This integer overflow issue results in undefined behavior, aborting the plugin and causing a denial of service. |
