CVSS v3.1 |
P9 Plus smartphones with software versions earlier before VIE-AL10BC00B386 have a denial of service (DoS) vulnerability. An attacker tricks a user into installing a malicious application on the smart phone, and the application can send given parameter to specific interface, which make a large number of memory allocation and the smart phone will be crash for memory exhaustion.
An exploitable vulnerability exists in the user photo update functionality of Circle with Disney running firmware 2.0.1. A repeated set of specially crafted API calls can cause the device to corrupt essential memory, resulting in a bricked device. An attacker needs network connectivity to the device to trigger this vulnerability.
An exploitable Denial of Service vulnerability exists in the API daemon of Circle with Disney running firmware 2.0.1. A large amount of simultaneous TCP connections causes the APID daemon to repeatedly fork, causing the daemon to run out of memory and trigger a device reboot. An attacker needs network connectivity to the device to trigger this vulnerability.
An issue was discovered in Schneider Electric Conext ComBox, model 865-1058, all firmware versions prior to V3.03 BN 830. A series of rapid requests to the device may cause it to reboot.
The inet module in FreeBSD 10.2x before 10.2-PRERELEASE, 10.2-BETA2-p2, 10.2-RC1-p1, 10.1x before 10.1-RELEASE-p16, 9.x before 9.3-STABLE, 9.3-RELEASE-p21, and 8.x before 8.4-STABLE, 8.4-RELEASE-p35 on systems with VNET enabled and at least 16 VNET instances allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (mbuf consumption) via multiple concurrent TCP connections.
A Resource Consumption issue was discovered in Trihedral VTScada Versions prior to 11.2.26. The client does not properly validate the input or limit the amount of resources that are utilized by an attacker, which can be used to consume more resources than are available.
IBM WebSphere MQ 8.0.0.6 does not properly terminate channel agents when they are no longer needed, which could allow a user to cause a denial of service through resource exhaustion. IBM Reference #: 1999672.
A Resource Exhaustion issue was discovered in Moxa NPort 5110 Version 2.2, NPort 5110 Version 2.4, NPort 5110 Version 2.6, NPort 5110 Version 2.7, NPort 5130 Version 3.7 and prior, and NPort 5150 Version 3.7 and prior. An attacker may be able to exhaust memory resources by sending a large amount of TCP SYN packets.
A ReDoS (regular expression denial of service) flaw was found in the tough-cookie module before 2.3.3 for Node.js. An attacker that is able to make an HTTP request using a specially crafted cookie may cause the application to consume an excessive amount of CPU.
coders/mpc.c in ImageMagick before 7.0.6-1 does not enable seekable streams and thus cannot validate blob sizes, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via an image received from stdin.
An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. iOS before 10.3.3 is affected. The issue involves the "EventKitUI" component. It allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (resource consumption and application crash).
NTP before 4.2.8p9 rate limits responses received from the configured sources when rate limiting for all associations is enabled, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (prevent responses from the sources) by sending responses with a spoofed source address.
Apache OpenMeetings 1.0.0 doesn't check contents of files being uploaded. An attacker can cause a denial of service by uploading multiple large files to the server.
A denial of service vulnerability in telnetd service on Juniper Networks Junos OS allows remote unauthenticated attackers to cause a denial of service. Affected Junos OS releases are: 12.1X46 prior to 12.1X46-D71; 12.3X48 prior to 12.3X48-D50; 14.1 prior to 14.1R8-S5, 14.1R9; 14.1X53 prior to 14.1X53-D50; 14.2 prior to 14.2R7-S9, 14.2R8; 15.1 prior to 15.1F2-S16, 15.1F5-S7, 15.1F6-S6, 15.1R5-S2, 15.1R6; 15.1X49 prior to 15.1X49-D90; 15.1X53 prior to 15.1X53-D47; 16.1 prior to 16.1R4-S1, 16.1R5; 16.2 prior to 16.2R1-S3, 16.2R2;
The bmpr_read_uncompressed function in imagew-bmp.c in libimageworsener.a in ImageWorsener before 1.3.1 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via a crafted image.
A vulnerability in telnetd service on Junos OS allows a remote attacker to cause a limited memory and/or CPU consumption denial of service attack. This issue was found during internal product security testing. Affected releases are Juniper Networks Junos OS 12.1X46 prior to 12.1X46-D45; 12.3X48 prior to 12.3X48-D30; 14.1 prior to 14.1R4-S9, 14.1R8; 14.2 prior to 14.2R6; 15.1 prior to 15.1F5, 15.1R3; 15.1X49 prior to 15.1X49-D40; 15.1X53 prior to 15.1X53-D232, 15.1X53-D47.
The WritePixelCachePixels function in ImageMagick 7.0.6-6 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption) via a crafted file.
Any Juniper Networks SRX series device with one or more ALGs enabled may experience a flowd crash when traffic is processed by the Sun/MS-RPC ALGs. This vulnerability in the Sun/MS-RPC ALG services component of Junos OS allows an attacker to cause a repeated denial of service against the target. Repeated traffic in a cluster may cause repeated flip-flop failure operations or full failure to the flowd daemon halting traffic on all nodes. Only IPv6 traffic is affected by this issue. IPv4 traffic is unaffected. This issues is not seen with to-host traffic. This issue has no relation with HA services themselves, only the ALG service. No other Juniper Networks products or platforms are affected by this issue. Affected releases are Juniper Networks Junos OS 12.1X46 prior to 12.1X46-D55 on SRX; 12.1X47 prior to 12.1X47-D45 on SRX; 12.3X48 prior to 12.3X48-D32, 12.3X48-D35 on SRX; 15.1X49 prior to 15.1X49-D60 on SRX.
Logstash versions prior to 2.3.3, when using the Netflow Codec plugin, a remote attacker crafting malicious Netflow v5, Netflow v9 or IPFIX packets could perform a denial of service attack on the Logstash instance. The errors resulting from these crafted inputs are not handled by the codec and can cause the Logstash process to exit.
In lib/ofp-util.c in Open vSwitch (OvS) before 2.8.1, there are multiple memory leaks while parsing malformed OpenFlow group mod messages. NOTE: the vendor disputes the relevance of this report, stating "it can only be triggered by an OpenFlow controller, but OpenFlow controllers have much more direct and powerful ways to force Open vSwitch to allocate memory, such as by inserting flows into the flow table."
