CVSS v3.1 |
| A flaw was found in fog-kubevirt. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attack due to disabled certificate validation. This enables the attacker to intercept and potentially alter sensitive communications between Satellite and OpenShift, resulting in information disclosure and data integrity compromise. |
| Improper Input Validation vulnerability in Apache Tomcat Native, Apache Tomcat.
When using an OCSP responder, Tomcat Native (and Tomcat's FFM port of the Tomcat Native code) did not complete verification or freshness checks on the OCSP response which could allow certificate revocation to be bypassed.
This issue affects Apache Tomcat Native: from 1.3.0 through 1.3.4, from 2.0.0 through 2.0.11; Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.17, from 10.1.0-M7 through 10.1.51, from 9.0.83 through 9.0.114.
The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are
known to be affected: from 1.1.23 through 1.1.34, from 1.2.0 through 1.2.39. Older EOL versions are not affected.
Apache Tomcat Native users are recommended to upgrade to versions 1.3.5 or later or 2.0.12 or later, which fix the issue.
Apache Tomcat users are recommended to upgrade to versions 11.0.18 or later, 10.1.52 or later or 9.0.115 or later which fix the issue. |
| Taipower APP for Andorid developed by Taipower has an Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability. When establishing an HTTPS connection with the server, the application fails to verify the server-side TLS/SSL certificate. This flaw allows an unauthenticated remote attackers to exploit the vulnerability to perform a Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attack to read and tamper with network packets. |
| Acrobat Reader versions 24.001.30307, 24.001.30308, 25.001.21265 and earlier are affected by an Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability that could result in a Security feature bypass. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to spoof the identity of a signer. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction. |
| The LDAP client on Microsoft Windows 2000 before Update Rollup 1 for SP4 accepts certificates using LDAP Secure Sockets Layer (LDAPS) even when the Certificate Authority (CA) is not trusted, which could allow attackers to trick users into believing that they are accessing a trusted site. |
| The (1) CertGetCertificateChain, (2) CertVerifyCertificateChainPolicy, and (3) WinVerifyTrust APIs within the CryptoAPI for Microsoft products including Microsoft Windows 98 through XP, Office for Mac, Internet Explorer for Mac, and Outlook Express for Mac, do not properly verify the Basic Constraints of intermediate CA-signed X.509 certificates, which allows remote attackers to spoof the certificates of trusted sites via a man-in-the-middle attack for SSL sessions, as originally reported for Internet Explorer and IIS. |
| X509TrustManager in (1) Java Secure Socket Extension (JSSE) in SDK and JRE 1.4.0 through 1.4.0_01, (2) JSSE before 1.0.3, (3) Java Plug-in SDK and JRE 1.3.0 through 1.4.1, and (4) Java Web Start 1.0 through 1.2 incorrectly calls the isClientTrusted method when determining server trust, which results in improper validation of digital certificate and allows remote attackers to (1) falsely authenticate peers for SSL or (2) incorrectly validate signed JAR files. |
| In the client side of Heimdal before 7.6.0, failure to verify anonymous PKINIT PA-PKINIT-KX key exchange permits a man-in-the-middle attack. This issue is in krb5_init_creds_step in lib/krb5/init_creds_pw.c. |
| Improper certificate validation in Azure Local allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Improper certificate validation in the identity provider connection components in Amazon Athena ODBC driver before 2.1.0.0 might allow a man-in-the-middle threat actor to intercept authentication credentials due to insufficient default transport security when connecting to identity providers. This only applies to connections with external identity providers and does not apply to connections with Athena.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 2.1.0.0. |
| SSL Verification Bypass vulnerabilities exist in ASPECT if administrator credentials become compromisedThis issue affects ASPECT-Enterprise: through 3.*; NEXUS Series: through 3.*; MATRIX Series: through 3.*. |
| An insufficient certificate validation issue in the Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtect™ app enables attackers to connect the GlobalProtect app to arbitrary servers. This can enable a local non-administrative operating system user or an attacker on the same subnet to install malicious root certificates on the endpoint and subsequently install malicious software signed by the malicious root certificates on that endpoint. |
| PaperCut Print Deploy is an optional component that integrates with PaperCut NG/MF which simplifies printer deployment and management. When the component is deployed to an environment, the customer has an option to configure the system to use a self-signed certificate. If the customer does not fully configure the system to leverage the trust database on the clients, it opens up the communication between clients and the server to man-in-the-middle attacks.
It was discovered that certain parts of the documentation related to the configuration of SSL in Print Deploy were lacking, which could potentially contribute to a misconfiguration of the Print Deploy client installation. PaperCut strongly recommends to use valid certificates to secure installations and to follow the updated documentation to ensure the correct SSL configuration. Those who use private CAs and/or self-signed certificates should make sure to copy their Certification Authority certificate, or their self signed certificate if using only one, to the trust store of their operating system and to the Java key store |
| This vulnerability affects NeuVector deployments only when the Report anonymous cluster data option is enabled. When this option is enabled, NeuVector sends anonymous telemetry data to the telemetry server.
In affected versions, NeuVector does not enforce TLS
certificate verification when transmitting anonymous cluster data to the
telemetry server. As a result, the communication channel is susceptible
to man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks, where an attacker could intercept
or modify the transmitted data. Additionally, NeuVector loads the
response of the telemetry server is loaded into memory without size
limitation, which makes it vulnerable to a Denial of Service(DoS)
attack |
| Improper Certificate Validation (CWE-295) in the Controller 7000 OneLink implementation could allow an unprivileged attacker to perform a limited denial of service or perform privileged overrides during the initial configuration of the Controller, there is no risk for Controllers once they are connected.
This issue affects Controller 7000:
9.30 prior to vCR9.30.250624a (distributed in 9.30.1871 (MR1)). |
| A certificate verification error in wolfSSL when building with the WOLFSSL_SYS_CA_CERTS and WOLFSSL_APPLE_NATIVE_CERT_VALIDATION options results in the wolfSSL
client failing to properly verify the server certificate's domain name,
allowing any certificate issued by a trusted CA to be accepted regardless of the hostname. |
| The affected devices do not validate the server certificate when connecting to the SolaX Cloud MQTTS server hosted in the Alibaba Cloud (mqtt001.solaxcloud.com, TCP 8883). This allows attackers in a man-in-the-middle position to act as the legitimate MQTT server and issue arbitrary commands to devices. |
| Multiple MFPs provided by Brother Industries, Ltd. does not properly validate server certificates, which may allow a man-in-the-middle attacker to replace the set of root certificates used by the product with a set of arbitrary certificates. |
| An issue was discovered on certain Nuki Home Solutions devices. Lack of certificate validation on HTTP communications allows attackers to intercept and tamper data. This affects Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 before 3.3.5, Nuki Bridge v1 before 1.22.0 and Nuki Bridge v2 before 2.13.2. |
| An improper validation vulnerability was reported in the firmware update mechanism of LADM and LDCC that could allow a local attacker to escalate privileges. |
