CVSS v3.1 |
| BusyBox passwd/group tokenize() references a stale endpoint pointer after trimming, causing an out-of-bounds write of heap pointers. |
| BusyBox dpkg read_package_field() steps past a NUL terminator on malformed .deb packages, causing an out-of-bounds heap read. |
| BusyBox httpd treats yescrypt ($y$) password hashes as plaintext during Basic Authentication, inverting the authentication check. |
| BusyBox httpd IP deny rules with invalid CIDR prefix lengths fail open, leaving a parsed IP with a zeroed mask so the rule matches no clients. |
| Horilla is an HR and CRM software. Prior to 2.0.0, approve_validate_attendance_request at /attendance/approve-validate-attendance-request/ changes attendance_validated, is_validate_request_approved, approved_by, and related pending-request state through an HTTP GET before calling attendance.save(), so Django does not require CSRF validation for the action. An unauthenticated attacker can cause a logged-in manager with attendance.change_attendance to make a top-level request that carries the manager's SameSite=Lax session cookie, silently approving attendance with the victim's privileges and attributing the approval to the victim in the audit trail. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.0. |
| gitoxide gix-fs before 0.23.0 contains a path validation bypass vulnerability in the worktree checkout mechanism that allows attackers to escape the worktree directory via symlink manipulation. During forced checkout with overwrite_existing enabled, attackers can craft malicious repository trees where symlink entries replace validated directories, causing subsequent files to be written outside the worktree through the symlink for code execution or file manipulation. |
| Horilla is an HR and CRM software. Prior to 2.0.0, HorillaListView.export_data in horilla_views/generic/cbv/views.py accepts an authenticated user's columns POST parameter, takes field_tuple[1], interpolates it into dynamic_fn_str as Python source, and passes the generated function definition to exec(). A crafted string that remains valid under ast.literal_eval can inject Python syntax into a default argument evaluated during function definition, allowing arbitrary operating-system commands to execute with the application process privileges, including root privileges in the shipped Docker image. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
afs: Fix double-unmap of directory block
Fix afs_edit_dir_remove() to use a cleanup function to unmap the block
pointed to by afs_dir_iter::block if it's left pointing to something rather
than manually kunmapping the blocks. Manually kunmapping without clearing
iter.blocks can result in a double-kunmap if afs_dir_find_block() is called
twice in a row (which would be the case if the block being modified is not
first in the hash chain). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/crypto: Fix wrong return code to engine in asynch callbacks
When crypto_finalize_hash_request() or
crypto_finalize_skcipher_request() explicitly completes a request, the
do_one_request callback must return 0 to indicate successful
handling. Returning a negative error code causes the crypto engine to
assume the driver failed to take ownership and triggers a second
completion via crypto_request_complete(), resulting in a double
completion. This pattern occurs in paes_s390.c 4 times and once in
phmac_s390.c.
Fixed in phmac_do_one_request() and all four paes do_one_request
callbacks (ecb, cbc, ctr, xts) by returning 0 after explicit
finalization instead of propagating the error code. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ring-buffer: Check resize_disabled before publishing the new subbuf order
ring_buffer_subbuf_order_set() stores the new order and only then walks
the CPUs, returning -EBUSY if any of them has resizing disabled. A user
mapped buffer has resizing disabled, and __rb_map_vma() reads
buffer->subbuf_order without buffer->mutex, so an mmap of an already
mapped CPU racing the failing order change sizes the mapping with the
new order and inserts pages past the sub-buffer into the VMA.
Check the CPUs before storing the new order. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
genetlink: pin family module during policy dump
The generic netlink controller's policy dump keeps pointers to the target
family's operation and policy tables in its callback state. A dump may be
split across multiple skbs and remain pending after the initial request.
Netlink pins the module which owns the dump callback, but in this case
that is the controller's owner rather than the target family's owner. The
target family can consequently be unregistered and its module unloaded
while a policy dump is pending. Advancing the dump then dereferences
policy memory from the unloaded module.
Take a reference to the target family's module when the dump starts.
Drop it from the error and done paths. This matches the lifetime for which
the dump context retains the family and policy pointers. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
accel: ethosu: Ensure SRAM size is 0 on mapping failure
On a mapping failure of the SRAM, the SRAM size is left as non-zero. The
probe will succeed as the error return is not checked since having SRAM is
not a hard requirement. The non-zero size allows jobs to access SRAM which
is left pointing to physical base address 0x0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ipmr: account multicast table and route memory
A netadmin in a user+net namespace can create many IPv4 and IPv6
multicast routing tables with MRT_TABLE and MRT6_TABLE. Each unseen
id allocates an mr_table via the shared mr_table_alloc(), links it
into the per-net list, and leaves it until netns teardown. Those
objects were not charged to memcg, so the host unreclaimable slab
grows with the table count.
Account mr_table allocations with GFP_KERNEL_ACCOUNT and mark the
IPv4/IPv6 MFC caches SLAB_ACCOUNT. This matches the established
handling of IP addresses, routes and alternate interface names.
Unresolved MFC entries are still allocated from softIRQ with
GFP_ATOMIC and are not charged. They expire after 10 seconds and are
bounded by the socket receive queue; see commit 0079ad8e8dc3
("ipmr: remove hard code cache_resolve_queue_len limit"). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
eth: ice: don't dereference pointers from TP_printk()
After forwarding net-next during the v7.3 merge window we started
seeing:
TRACE EVENT ERROR: Event ice_tx_dim_work has double dereference in TP_printk: REC->q_vector->tx.tx_ring->q_index
WARNING: kernel/trace/trace_events.c:420 at test_double_dereference.cold+0x39/0x4b
this is due to extra checks added in tracing subsystem in
commit b5cc230af5e5 ("tracing: Warn when an event dereferences a pointer in TP_printk()").
Printing happens long after the event was recorded, by which point
the pointers may be invalid (the ring or the dim instance).
Copy the eight scalars into the event instead. |
| On Windows, PHP's filesystem and stream APIs do not reject reserved device names such as CON, PRN, AUX, NUL, COM1 to COM9, LPT1 to LPT9, CONIN$ and CONOUT$ when they appear as a component of a path. An attacker-controlled filename therefore reaches CreateFileW() and opens a device instead of the regular file the application expected, which can block or hang the request and exhaust worker processes. |
| BusyBox romfs volume ID parsing uses unbounded strlen on attacker-controlled metadata, causing a heap buffer overflow when processing crafted filesystem images. |
| Actual is a local-first personal finance tool. Prior to 26.7.0, Actual Sync Server's CORS proxy is intended to let authenticated users fetch resources only from repositories listed in the official plugin allowlist. When `ACTUAL_GITHUB_TOKEN` is configured, the proxy automatically attaches the server's GitHub token to GitHub requests. The GitHub API allowlist check uses a raw `startsWith()` prefix test for `/repos/{owner}/{repo}` without requiring a path boundary after the repository name. If an allowlisted public plugin repository is `https://github.com/acme/plugin`, the proxy also accepts GitHub API URLs. Those URLs are outside the allowlisted repository but still pass because their API path starts with `/repos/acme/plugin`. The proxy then forwards the request with the server's `ACTUAL_GITHUB_TOKEN`, allowing any authenticated Actual user to read private GitHub resources reachable by that token. Version 26.7.0 fixes the issue. |
| Flame through 2.4.0 contains an insufficient session expiration vulnerability in the login endpoint that allows attackers with former admin access to obtain tokens with arbitrary lifespans by supplying unvalidated duration parameters. Attackers can mint near-permanent administrator tokens that survive password changes, retaining full control of the dashboard since tokens are verified only against a static JWT secret that is never rotated. |
| Flame through 2.4.0 contains an improper restriction of excessive authentication attempts vulnerability in the POST /api/auth login endpoint that allows unauthenticated attackers to brute-force the admin password. Attackers can submit unlimited password guesses without rate limiting, attempt counters, lockouts, or delays to gain full administrator access and modify application configuration. |
| Flame through 2.4.0 contains an information exposure vulnerability in the unauthenticated GET /api/config endpoint that returns the entire configuration object without field redaction. Attackers can retrieve the stored weather API key and internal operational settings by sending a single unauthenticated request to consume provider quota or access sensitive configuration data. |
