CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability in the TLS 1.3 implementation in Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause an affected device to reload unexpectedly, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition.
This vulnerability is due to improper buffer management during the TLS 1.3 connection. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted TLS 1.3 packet to an affected system through a TLS 1.3-enabled listening socket. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the LINA process to crash, which would cause the device to reload. The reload can happen before or after authentication of the connection.Note: TLS 1.3 connections include both data traffic and user-management traffic. |
| A vulnerability in the SSID bring-your-own-device (BYOD) onboarding workflow of Cisco ISE could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to hijack the onboarding session of another user and access protected 802.1X networks.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient authentication checks that are performed while a user is being onboarded. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by spoofing the legitimate user and triggering a redirection to the guest web portal. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to take over the user session and gain access to the protected 802.1X network. |
| The 3D FlipBook – PDF Embedder, PDF Flipbook Viewer, Flipbook Image Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.16.20 via the 'id' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data including the full metadata payload of password-protected flipbooks — including title, outline, props, and the serialized data blob containing the underlying PDF file's direct URL — bypassing WordPress post-password confidentiality. Flipbook post IDs can be pre-enumerated via the also-unauthenticated fb3d_send_posts AJAX action, requiring no prior knowledge to target specific flipbooks. |
| Improper Authentication vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an attacker to be signed in as another user by linking an OAuth2 identity to an account that is not theirs.
AshAuthentication.Strategy.OAuth2.UserResolver.resolve/3 matches an existing account using the register action's upsert_identity keys, then gates linking the incoming provider identity to it on email_trusted?/2, which reads only the provider's email_verified boolean and never compares the provider's email value with the matched account's email. That gate assumes the account was matched by its email field, so under any other upsert_identity it is vacuous and an attacker presenting their own verified email is attached to, and issued a session for, an account matched on some other attribute. The same unguarded gate applies in OAuth2.SignInPreparation on the registration_enabled? false path, where the account is matched by the sign-in action's read filter instead. The upsert also rewrites the matched account's email to the attacker's address, so later account recovery reaches the attacker rather than the owner.
This issue affects ash_authentication: from 4.14.0 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.10 before 5.0.0-rc.14. |
| AA maliciously crafted MODEL file, when parsed through certain Autodesk products, can force an Out-of-Bounds Write vulnerability. A malicious actor may leverage this vulnerability to cause a crash, cause data corruption, or execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process. |
| An unauthorized user with key vault write access may cause an authorized client to issue arbitrary authenticated Google Cloud KMS API calls under the authorized user's identity, escalating database-level access into cloud key control and defeating client-side encryption. |
| A maliciously crafted CATPRODUCT file, when parsed through certain Autodesk products, can force a Heap-Based Overflow vulnerability. A malicious actor can leverage this vulnerability to cause a crash, read sensitive data, or execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process. |
| An SSRF issue was discovered in OpenStack Glance before Newton. The 'copy_from' feature in the Image Service API v1 allowed an attacker to perform masked network port scans. With v1, it is possible to create images with a URL such as 'http://localhost:22'. This could then allow an attacker to enumerate internal network details while appearing masked, since the scan would appear to originate from the Glance Image service. |
| A missing input-validation issue in MongoDB libmongocrypt's automatic-encryption context setup allows a caller-supplied database identifier to be accepted without sanitization. The resulting impact is limited to incorrect schema selection, which may lead to limited disclosure or modification of information handled by the application. |
| Improper handling of an unexpected value size in the decryption path of a client-side encryption library can cause a failed internal check that terminates the process using the library. A party able to place a suitably formed encrypted value where an application will decrypt it, or able to control the responses the application receives, may cause that application to stop running. |
| A specific version of the Node.js mongodb-client-encryption module does not perform correct validation of the KMS server’s certificate. This vulnerability in combination with a privileged network position active MITM attack could result in interception of traffic between the Node.js driver and the KMS service rendering client-side field level encryption (CSFLE) ineffective. This issue was discovered during internal testing and affects mongodb-client-encryption module version 1.2.0, which was available from 2021-Jan-29 and deprecated in the NPM Registry on 2021-Feb-04. This vulnerability does not impact driver traffic payloads with CSFLE-supported key services from applications residing inside the AWS, GCP, and Azure nework fabrics due to compensating controls in these environments. This issue does not impact driver workloads that don’t use Field Level Encryption. This issue affect MongoDB Node.js Driver mongodb-client-encryption module version 1.2.0 |
| Dell OpenManage Server Administrator, versions prior to 11.1.0.3, contains a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Server-side request forgery. |
| A maliciously crafted PDF file, when parsed through certain Autodesk products, can force a Out-of-Bounds Read vulnerability. A malicious actor can leverage this vulnerability to cause a crash, read sensitive data, or execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process. |
| A maliciously crafted PDF file, when parsed through certain Autodesk products, can force a Out-of-Bounds Write vulnerability. A malicious actor may leverage this vulnerability to cause a crash, cause data corruption, or execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process. |
| A maliciously crafted PDF file, when parsed through certain Autodesk products, can force a Use-After-Free vulnerability. A malicious actor can leverage this vulnerability to cause a crash, disclose sensitive data, or execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process. |
| vm2 versions before 3.11.2 fail to properly restrict access to the VM2_INTERNAL_STATE_DO_NOT_USE_OR_PROGRAM_WILL_FAIL global variable. Attackers can access this internal state object through globalThis to retrieve sensitive sandbox internals. |
| vm2 before 3.11.6 fails to enforce bufferAllocLimit on ArrayBuffer, SharedArrayBuffer, and TypedArray constructors, allowing attackers to allocate arbitrary host memory. Attackers can bypass the buffer allocation cap by using these V8 intrinsics to exhaust host process memory and trigger out-of-memory conditions. |
| In BMCtest, Ironic is started without authentication and TLS for the duration of the test. Exploiting the problem requires winning the race with bmctest itself, which reduces the attack window and significantly increases its complexity. |
| vm2 before 3.11.8 does not fully enforce the allowAsync: false option in VM and NodeVM. While localPromise.prototype.then is replaced with a handler that throws 'Async not available', the sandbox's Promise static methods (Promise.resolve, Promise.all, Promise.race, Promise.any, and Promise.allSettled) still assimilate attacker-supplied thenables: native promise resolution performs PromiseResolveThenableJob and invokes the sandboxed code's then method in a microtask without passing through the patched then, so the async restriction is never applied. As a result, sandboxed script can schedule work that runs after VM.run() or NodeVM.run() has returned and outside the configured timeout, continuing to execute after the host believes execution is complete. |
| vm2 through 3.11.6 contains a builtin-module denylist bypass in NodeVM. When the embedder uses the builtin wildcard together with negative entries (e.g. require: { builtin: ['*', '-fs', '-child_process'] }), negative entries are matched by exact module name in lib/builtin.js, so -fs removes only the builtin named fs and does not remove builtin subpaths such as fs/promises. Sandboxed code can therefore call require('fs/promises') or require('node:fs/promises') and reach the promise-based filesystem API despite fs being denied; node: prefix handling is likewise inconsistent (a -node:fs/promises entry does not block require('fs/promises')). Host file creation and writing were confirmed via fsp.writeFile(), and other fs/promises operations (cp, mkdir, rename, rm, rmdir, truncate, read operations, etc.) are also reachable. This issue is fixed in vm2 3.11.7. |
